Sarastro (Covent Garden)

• I went here on a birthday treat with some 50 others
• The restaurant has a very high ceiling and there are some tables which are positioned on an elevated level in the room
• Sarastro (Covent Garden) is anything but missable
• This restaurant is like a museum from the inside

• They look like the private boxes which in earlier times were for the rich class watching their entertainment
• The lower seating is rather difficult to get into considering the height issues
• We ordered the mezze platter(selection of mezzes) which had the regular hummus and piyaz but what i really liked was their couscous salad along with their bean salad
• The hummus is very authentic and looks as smooth as a face pack
• All in all a meal for the two of us(quite filling) was around 21 pounds without drinks
• Sarastro (Covent Garden) is slightly on the upper side but if they have to put in anymore decorations
• They can do with as much money as they can get
• The quality of food is (for me) outweighed by the quantity
• I conclude that I definitely love Sarasatro but I struggle with the question of 'would I still go if it wasn't as unique and with such enjoyable ambiance'

• The view from the balcony is absolutely wonderful
• You will always be caught with the sheer beauty of the creativity of the things around you
• The only drawback was that I visited Sarastro (Covent Garden) with a group of 10 friends because of which I had to opt for the set menu
• That not only did not live up to its expectations but was also over priced
