Galvin HOP (Spitalfields)

• I had the Duck for my main course which was cooked amazingly
• The ambiance is relaxed and inviting with lots of patio space in the warmer months
• Tables are decorated with lovely orchids
• The space is cosy and vibrant and filled with conversation
• I ordered the risotto with chanterelle and squash
• The squash was flavourful and creamy
• The portion was a tad huge
• The service definitely isn't on par with La Chapelle
• As this offers a more relaxed and down to earth experience (because La Chapelle is truly heavenly
• The restaurant both inside and outside offers a nice atmosphere and the service was generally favourable and the waiters were incredibly polite
• We had a table of 7 and all plates were clean and that is not because the portions were small
• You get two courses with a glass of wine
• This kind of cost in a smart cosy setting is almost impossible in London
• Galvin HOP is slightly disappointing
• Peter Morrell enjoys a very relaxing bottomless brunch with excellent food in this charming restaurant
• Fish and vegetables until it was moved to Leyton in 1991
• Ambiance it has got outdoor seatings and bar counter is nicely done to
• Drinks Beers are very nice and they run happy hours too
• Even Prosecco is on happy hour menu and I just loved the Prosecco which they served
