• Never at the top of the tree when it came to decent places to eat (the astonishing Ledbury being the exception that proves the rule) is one of those affluent restaurant deserts (see also Hampstead
• My Hemingway Daquiri was a great example of its kind unsweetened and forcefully alcoholic
• 8 portion of chicken livers came served with sweet brioche bread and a small pot of congealed butter in case you weren't finding enough fat elsewhere on the plate
• So the overall effect was pretty unappealing
• Was all it tasted of) and cheddar (I think) inside a very sweet brioche bun and with whole mini gherkins rolling around a bit slapped together
• I know diner food isn't supposed to be too fussy but there was very little to get excited about here
• I think I'm entitled to moan about how even the thin strips of red flesh were crumbly and dry
• Ordered because the rest of what was coming our way seemed a little heavy (oh how little we knew) was
• Chips had a good crunch but were otherwise unmemorable
• The new restaurant is a collaboration between the private members club Soho House and Chicago&rsquo
• It's been good before the menu is now slightly bigger and the food quality has improved
• There is a great bar with a large draught selection and really well done cocktails
• Electric Diner (Notting Hill) is new and young
• The food here is decent and you must try the deep fried grill options the chef offers
• The bar is fairly sophisticated with stools lined up across the floor
• A must try on the menu is their own take on the Brenden Sodikoff
• I can understand food is best served hot but in my opinion it was very hot
• The service however was kind of slow
• The chefs were sitting and talking about their favorite football time and were delaying the order too
• The restaurant was completely jam packed and even then the service was pretty good
• The ambiance is lively and fun
• The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous
• The food offered is full of flavour
• Has a delicate aroma and is delicious in taste
• The clientele is very well to do and clearly enjoy Electric Diner (Notting Hill)
• I was very impressed with Electric Diner (Notting Hill)
• The interiors were rather good and the place was warm and cosy
• The service was good and the staff were rather friendly
• The food here was delicious and the mains were the best
• The burger was served with pickles
• The best thing about Electric Diner (Notting Hill) was that if you visit before 11 AM
• Visited this restaurant for brunch and were quite glad with our choice
• We had omelette and eggs benedict both of which were very well prepared and tasted even more delicious
• The staff was very polite and the service was unbelievably quick
• The beverages were awesome too
• The food is pretty simple but according to me simple food can be the best because then the basics are pretty clear
• The food is excellent with pretty interesting options on the menu which are wonderfully cooked
• The quinoa salad is absolutely awesome and is one dish to die
• The drinks were pretty good as well
• We had chicken which was of pretty bad quality whereas the beers that we has were amazing
• The fries though were quite good but I suggest you to visit Electric Diner (Notting Hill) only for the variety of drinks on offer
• It is one of those places with which you fall in love with on the very first sight
• The service was brilliant and the staff members were polite and very helpful
• The food served was freshly prepared and had the most authentic taste
• The chicken wings we ordered were not up to the mark however the bloody Mary was just spectacular
• I thought that I will be having casual dinner here but to my surprise the food was awesome and same goes for the atmosphere and the service
• My friend had hot dog but it was not that good according to her

• I am very sorry to have witnessed all the mistakes that the chefs were making while cooking
• Because you are always worried if it will be alright
• All I can say about Electric Diner is that the food is decent but really nothing special
• For the price you are paying you can easily find something better elsewhere
• The Electric diner is good for a very casual relaxed lunch
• Fantastic for drinks always busy with a mixed crowd they always have fantastic music and drink choices and plenty of seating with lots of fun stuff on the walls to check out ☺️
• Situated in the heart of Portobello Market this is such a lovely diner with super friendly staff and great food
• So I had avocado on toast with a poached egg
• A less than lukewarm poached egg is not optimum and the toast could have been&hellip
• The avocado was nice enough but the chilli did not have a big enough hit
• My Oreo milkshake was pretty good
• The only thing I would say about that is I had to ask for a spoon because all the oreo collected at the bottom and it&rsquo

• Electric Diner is situated on the super busy and trendy tourist hotspot of Portobello Road
• One thing I love about Portobello Road is that it has maintained its identity and they have not let chain restaurants fully take over the area like tourist hotspots usually become a victim of
• Some of the best restaurants are on this road
• I started off with something healthy aka carrot juice
• My mother used to make me drink this when I was little and now I like it and order it voluntarily
• I loved the fact the muffins were crisp rather than soggy as usually is the case if left too long before serving
• Electric Diner is a very popular hot spot
• I hear their sofas are super comfy and you get served doughnuts
• Cappuccino is great hit as well
• The restaurant is affiliated with the adjacent Electric Cinema
• We ended up sitting at the bar which allowed us to have a good chat with the very lovely barman
• Eggs royale were very good and filling
• The cinema's stunning interior is graced with red leather furniture
• I wouldn't recommend it to anyone if they are looking for good food
• Was looking for a place for lunch and got interested with the place because it was always crowded and it's located just beside the iconic Electric Cinema
• Felt like real American diner but with European touch
• Hash browns were very nice and crunchy
• Love some parts of the hash browns that were still a bit 'melting' (not completely fried)
