  • From being French I really appreciate the place and it reminds me my childhood but the prices are definitely to expensive

  • After your diner you can have a cocktail at the bar of the Mandarin Oriental which is one of the most beautiful and classy Hotel in Town

  • I went there with my boyfriend

  • I must admit that the bill was hard to swallow

  • A stylish service is activated with rigor

  • Stewed beef cheek with onion and pistachios pie quail with Foie Gras

  • Located in the basement of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge is Daniel Boulud's London outpost Bar Boulud

  • It's amazing to think that was over 18 months ago and I am only now returning

  • This visit was for lunch on a Saturday and we experienced a much less frantic environment than I remember

  • The ambience was actually very relaxing

  • Followed by a very tender lamb shoulder dish served with baby carrots

  • Almonds and apricots and finished with a quite stunning chestnut sable &

  • Mousse covered in a lovely shiny chocolate glaze served with some light and refreshing pear sorbet

  • My companions were visiting Bar Boulud for the first time and quite rightly ordered the burgers

  • The best burgers in London was the general consensus there great fries too

  • My intentions for having a reasonably priced lunch were dashed by the pricey but delicious cocktails

  • With lovely starter sized bar food (the lobster roll is green and perhaps not that great

  • The tuna tartare is spoon sized and delicious

  • Perfect for a sit down meal of BURGERS (love the Piggie and the very French fries) and a proper bistro feast with perfectly grilled sole

  • Followed by two desserts each highly recommend the raspberry souffle with pistachio gelato

  • Does what it says on the can food is high quality and spot on

  • The desserts are suprisingly good

  • Without a doubt one of best mid range / high end dining establishments in this neck of the woods

  • After much deliberating I chose to commence with the Duo De Crabe

  • The charming and knowledgeable sommelier recommended a peculiarly interesting wine from an Oregon vintner that is a blend of nine varietals

  • I was surprised with sunflowers and taken to Bar Boulud for a celebration over a perfect hot dog

  • The restaurant was completely booked and buzzing with men sipping whisky in designer suits and elegant women dining dressed to the nines

  • We quickly decided that this was going to be a filthy celebration of maximum caloric intake

  • A spicy lamb merguez served on a brioche bun with mint yoghurt and pepper stew

  • The Tunisienne had great flavour from the mint yoghurt with a little bit of kick from the pepper stew

  • The award winning Pigge is a beef patty topped with bbq pulled pork

  • The texture from the cheddar melted on top of the top of the bun is what I would like to call the cherry on top

  • The generous serving of foie was creamy and added a nice

  • The beef patty was overcooked

  • Flourless sponge with hot chocolate sauce and mint chocolate ice cream

  • The chocolate disc on top was melted by a hot chocolate sauce poured over the top

  • The described flourless sponge was apparently one bite full hiding at the bottom which I wasn&rsquo

  • Next to try was an assortment of macarons

  • The presentation was simple but beautiful in a small glass

  • The mousse was creamy and sweet and contrasted perfectly with the cold

  • The food at Bar Boulud was good and I&rsquo

  • The service was great with knowledgable

  • Friendly staff that were attentive and happy to rectify the burger mishap

  • I ordered the deluxe burger with foie gras and truffle which doesn't really work

  • The selection of drinks on offer are alienating in price and the environment was a bit too upmarket which detracts from what a burger experience should be

  • The Yankee burger at Boulud is built around a classic garnish of iceberg lettuce

  • The kitchen took it upon themselves to portion our burgers as we were sharing all four nice idea but please don't touch my burger) in halves alongside the Frenchie (see below)

  • A second bite pulled the entire remaining tomato out of the burger and was left dangling down my chin

  • Comes complete with confit pork belly

  • It was topped with a tomato compote

  • This burger was perfectly pink in the middle

  • Even the beef was just texture

  • Everything else is lost in an fiery nasal explosion

  • The Piggie is yet another strong performer on paper

  • The beef patty is topped with BBQ pulled pork

  • The pulled pork is flakey and melty and the chilli mayo and 'slaw add great depth to the flavours

  • The BB Burger is the mac daddy of the Boulud burger menu

  • They're all potentially strong but the only one that delivers is the Piggie

  • Bar Boulud is Michelin starred chef Daniel Boulud's first and still only venture into London

  • Bar Boulud makes its trades serving up French bistro dishes with an American flare

  • The interiors were sleek and it really did feel like being in an old school New York bistro

  • Unfortunately after all the expectation comes the disheartening let down these burgers were just average

  • It's not that they were very bad but it's just that the burger game in London has gone to a level which is unprecedented and sadly

  • These burgers would've been revolutionary cooked perfectly medium raw with some gourmet toppings on a fancy bun but what used to set these burgers apart has now become the norm and certain things

  • I found the meat was under seasoned and lacked any sort of real flavour

  • 50 excluding service and that was already the cheaper option considering a single burger would've cost £

  • Was one of the best I've had in my lifetime

  • It often appears on a number of best burger in London lists so obviously we were here for the burgers

  • The service here was excellent they couldn't do enough for you

  • We were given some delicious warm french bread when we sat down which was replaced when we had finished

  • When the burgers arrived and we cut into them we realised they were more medium well before we had even said anything a waiter was over fussing &

  • When the burgers arrived for the second time they were perfectly cooked

  • My cheeseburger was good but a little dry

  • My other halfs was more complimentary about his BB burger it's luxury affair foie gras

  • Truffle mayo very rich but he was very impressed

  • It is not cheap here are two burgers

  • Cool place is your in the area but I wouldn't make a special trip

  • We sat at the bar for drinks and shared a burger with pulled pork

  • Definitely the best espresso martini I've ever had in London I always go here just for their espresso martini is always busy and has a nice crowd

  • Dressed in my best Veronica avatar

  • Bar Boulud is a sexy restaurant

  • The Universe was conspiring to distract me from the most awful week

  • In terms of main meal I was hugely disappointed with the available vegetarian options

  • I was offered a salad as nothing else was available despite letting the team know o was vegetarian a week in advance and being told some options would be available

  • The dessert was fantastic and a highlight was the madaleine cakes which came hot out of the oven and just perfect

  • Bar Boulud restaurant of the world famous celebrity chef Daniel Boulud is located at the 5 star Mandarin Oriental hotel on Knightsbridge

  • The whole atmosphere of this restaurant is very cool and casual

  • In the day it's not very formal and is a good place for a beer and burger and by the night this bar becomes a very classy and somewhat formal dinner place

  • I went for lunch with my brother and friends

  • The burger was very juicy and tasted very good

  • Honestly it looked very cool and interesting but the taste is not very good

  • My experience at Bar Boulud was very good I am looking forward to my next trip here

  • What a pleasure it was to be included among the select few invited to attend

  • T be disappointed with his practical tips presumably learned from experience dining in the field with a resident bull showing up as a unexpected guest

  • His six course tasting menu accompanied with wines served by the glass from a selection of three large format wine bottles was equally a delight to experience

  • Vichyssoise (chilled potato and leek soup with UK smoked sturgeon and caviar

  • Agneau en Rognonnade (stuffed lamb saddle with peas a la Francaise and new potatoes)

  • Running from the bar nearly to the entrance was without doubt this biggest Baked Alaska I&rsquo

  • Le Soula Rouge) paired well with the dishes and

  • Also in town for the occasion was celebrated Parisian charcutier

  • Much (if not all) of which is available regularly at Bar Boulud and worth a visit there alone

  • Bar Boulud London is located at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park

  • I was here for a belated birthday treat because it has one of the best value three course set dinners on offer in London

  • Seeing as this was suppose to be a birthday treat for the Panda I went a little &ldquo

  • Bar Boulud is located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge

  • This is the place where a man (or woman) should attend with one thing in mind a burger

  • The sister entity of Bar Boulud New York by Michelin starred chef Daniel Boulud is located in the beautiful Mandarin Oriental in London

  • Since we had reserved in advance we were immediately led to our table

  • We started the night off with some champagne

  • A big portion and a very flavorful dish It was a great beginning to the meal

  • Moving to the mains The burgers were highly recommended and that is exactly what I chose to order

  • The burger was juicy and absolutely delectable

  • The mussels were very flavorful

  • We ended the night on a high note with the special dessert of the day Chocolate mousse cake with a crunchy base

  • The presentation was as great as the food tasted

  • The pricing was decent for the ambience and quality of food offered

  • The service is very friendly and highly efficient

  • Bar Boulud has the best burgers ever

  • Every food van and American company was suddenly announcing new venues

  • Not many of them are located in 5 star hotels in Knightsbridge and so it seemed reasonable to see if paying all that extra for a gourmet burger was worth it

  • I went for the sunday brunch ordered the terrine charcuterie but wasnt wow by it thn went for the burger which again for the price wasnt wow and ended with the waffle which was a bit of a let down

  • The truffle mash was amazingly good and the children had chicken with fries which was top noch couldnt fault it

  • The bloody marry was really nice as well

  • Expectations were high in line with the prestige

  • Location and history of the hotel basement we were about to dine in

  • I either remember or forget and I this case it was the latter

  • It turned out it was the perfect time to visit

  • Coinciding with his Mediterranean themed summer pop up &ndash

  • My main reason to revisit it again after a very long time is that I've heard that they are adding a Mediterranean menu for July and August 2016

  • The interiors were those of a typical bar but I kind of liked it

  • The calamari was so delicious

  • It wasn't crunchy and it was a bit too oily for my liking

  • The sirloin was a bit too chewy and I have tasted much better steaks in London

  • The Burger is like an oversized burger

  • The burger was good 3.5/5

  • I ordered this but with melted feta cheese

  • The vegetables were cooked to perfection

  • D won a competition with Squaremeals for a three course meal

  • Matched by a dinner that is decadently heart warming and service that is impeccable yet endearingly friendly

  • Went for the Yankee 17 with the standard patty

  • So went for the BB24 which was beef patty

  • The service is on point and the burger themselves are pretty good

  • I guess what Bar Boulud (Knightsbridge) offers is more decadent and interesting burger choices

  • You know that is an invitation which cannot be ignored

  • Bun has cheekily moved closer to where I live in Hoxton with two branches right next to Liverpool Street station and on Boundary Street

  • BBC 2 Radio with Take That headlining

  • Just a well to do crowd with designer bags and clothes

  • All just going The pricing is not bad for a Knightsbridge restaurant in a 5 star hotel

  • The pricing is not bad for a Knightsbridge restaurant in a 5 star hotel

  • To find good oysters and escargots is usually not an easy task
