Egg Break (Notting Hill)

• Perfect for breakfast (love their fresh juices) or for a quick drink made with fresh fruits in the afternoon
• I visited Egg Break today for lunch and boy oh boy was I impressed
• We ordered two dishes between us the fried chicken and the deconstructed eggs with chorizo as well as a selection of sides (fennel sausages
• The fried chicken and egg in a brioche bun is a must order and I highly recommend the deconstructed egg with chorizo and tomato
• Both the hash browns (some of the best I've ever had) and the sausages were incredible
• The jalapeno fries were more like little potatoes and I wasn't as taken aback by them as I could have been
• The pancake is by far one of the best desserts I've had in a long time

• We went for the lighter options with salads and plates

• I recently visited Egg Break for breakfast on a Saturday morning with the lovely Sheepa
• One was the bun with folded egg
• A nice simple bun but it was probably slightly plain for me and could have done with more filling/sauce to make it taste better
• This was served with two slices of toasted sourdough
• The hash browns which were nice and crispy
• We could not resist ordering a couple of desserts to try there is always room for dessert
• The baked salted caramel custard was served in a small teacup and topped with creme fraiche sweet but nothing too exciting
• We both really liked the Dutch baby pancake with raspberries
• Overall it was a pleasant and satisfying meal and I would visit again to try out more eggy dishes

• The interior has a shabby chic vibe including a bar to mix up your best bloody Mary hangover cures
• Apparently the whole place is packed on the weekend with people seeking out the best brunches to start their day&hellip
• There were just six dishes in the dinner menu and they were all egg based sandwiches
• It is a much better spot for breakfast and brunch as the dinner menu is very limited
• (The new owners just had to cross out Thai and replace by Egg which was a witty touch
• Sadly we went at dinner and their menu is extremely limited and the food was just mediocre
• 30pm the line was out the door
• Shame as it was pretty windy and they do not have a waiting area
• After 10 minutes I was seated with menu in hand and coffee on the way
• The interior is super cute shabby chic
• Another coffee had to be ordered as one was not enough to get me through my decision
• Egg Break in Notting Hill is Soho House's contribution to London's egg revolution
• It's not a chain yet and this cosy brunch spot is full of character
• There were some bun bargains in there that were too good to be true

• The lower ground is nicely decorated but does not have much natural light
• As for the food it is nice and completely within a student budget
• We got the fried egg with crispy polenta which was yummy
• The fried egg bun and the broken eggs with chorizo which was my favourite
• First time to give this a go and as I'm a big fan of the humble egg I was very excited
• Broken egg with chorizo is a winner
• The Fennel sausage was mediochre and I had higher expectations despite being told by my boyfriend that it was incredible
• The hash browns were really good though
• The dishes are rather egg otic sounding
• The broken eggs (which are scrambled eggs for those who are more familiar with the term)
• Makes for a delicious combination with the grilled tomato and spring onion garnish
• Because these pancakes are warm and heavenly
• Spoilt for choice with the egg zotic sounding dishes
• This last element was a stroke of genius
• He thoroughly enjoyed and seemed very tasty from the mere morsel I was permitted to sample

• The sourdough was a little on the hard side and it was slightly cold when served
• Instead the bacon is in the pineapple bacon jam
• What I wouldn't order again are the fresh fruit juices

• I had the corn cakes with poached eggs and sriracha hollandaise
• Service is good and waiters are smiling and helpful
• The Mexican Omlette was good but the French Toast was below average
• Worth the visit of one is in the neighborhood
• Went for brunch and had a burger that was on special which was delicious
• I'd still happily go back if I was that side of town

• The place is cosy and small ( downside is that they don't have a AC inside ) so it can get quite hot in summer

• The goats cheese slice is extremely thick and that dominates the flavours on the plate
• My main disappointment was that the poached egg was less than stellar
• I could have done with less of the kale bed and a touch more crispiness
• Good size for a brunch and the setting and staff are perfect for this time of the day
• Their food is full of flavors
• The mexican omellete and the custard are so good here
• With such an impeccable service they serve beautifully with amazing dishes and tough choice as all of them are very delicious
• Ambience is also great with perfect dishes
• Once you enter you feel they are a small restaurant
• They do have a lower level which is great and cozy
