Dandelyan - Mondrian London (South Bank)

• The real star of the show though is designer Tom Dixon who has created a stunning series of spaces
• Take your time finding the bar and make as many loo trips as you can get away with to do some exploring
• Mr Lyan has twice been named UK best bartender of the year
• The drinks list is split into Cereal
• A fun flavour chart is also rather useful and my eyes immediately move towards the rich
• Aromatic drinks best consumed at night
• I believe some part of the drink is percolated slowly through broken up concrete why not
• The edible chocolate stones were a nice touch
• 45 bill for three drinks is a little hard to swallow
• The upside is that the world's best bartenders and chefs are on our doorstep
• Absinthe and concrete perfectly smokey with a slightly ashy aftertaste
• It also comes with edible stones
• S went for the Puffed Grains and Chocolate which was less chocolatey than we were expecting and much lighter than mine
• The atmosphere is quite refined
• It's brilliant position and great view of the river make it a good choice if you feel like having drinks in the area but avoiding any of the more crowded pubs that are in the area
• While the mineral ones are a bit more full bodied and strong
• Came here for cocktails on a Saturday evening with gorgeous views of the river
• The master behind the cocktails is Ryan Chetiyawardana
• The bar is so appealing with its green marble and wooden slates that become shelves
• The cocktail menu is an interesting booklet with very informative text and illustrations
• The drinks you receive are way more than what you expect
• My peach in a cone drink was topped with flowers and pine leaves
• Love and money is a drink that came topped with mousse and turmeric powder
• A must try for sure if you are walking around the area or visiting the Tate Modern
• The ambience is vibrant and unpretentious
• The service is efficient and they have a lovely selection of cocktails
• Funky and know what they are talking about when it comes down to recommendations of what to drink
• After taking our order the waiter was never to be seen again
• I needed to organise an Afternoon Tea for a large group which was also vegetarian and vegan friendly
• I would expect much more from a bar named the best in the world
• Not to mention that yes it was Friday night
• M not an alcohol drinker but I did have good times hangin out with friends here
