Chicama (Chelsea)

• Chicama enters the London restaurant scene with much pressure
• Menu has no meat and is centred on seafood and veggie dishes
• I can say the Peruvian food in London is second to none
• We ordered quite a fair bit and every dish was as delightful as the next
• Ceviche is basically raw fish cured in a lemon or lime juice and spiced with chilli peppers
• Often it is eaten together with sweet potato
• I first came across it when it was prepared for me by my oldest and very dear friend C
• A welcome addition with its Peruvian cuisine
• You may get the feeling that this bit is way too far to venture too
• Chicama is a light airy space with a terrace for the Summer
• Fresh ceviche is something very appealing
• As this drink is of Peruvian decent
• The lowish score is because I have not eaten there yet
• Some dishes here will tickle your interest and are good (Salmon ceviche was the best
• Overall a cheerful place worth a check if you are really into your ceviches
• Our last day in London we went to Chicama it was kind of hard to find a spot
