Me the best dish here was the sea bream cerviche full of hot and spicy flavors
-
The beef main course was delicious too and to top it all we had a dulce leche ice cream
-
A must visit for the relaxed atmosphere coupled with some good food
-
The seafood was very well prepared and was perfectly marinated as well
-
The portions served were also quite large
-
The entire meal was absolutely delicious and the prices were also in a fairly competitive range
-
The service was quick however Lima (Fitzrovia) becomes very crowded during lunchtime
-
I could find no fault with Lima (Fitzrovia)
-
You should go here if you like Peruvian food with a modern twist
-
I had the octopus and quinoa which was beautifully present and an absolute delight
-
The pork dish and the Amazon fish were equally amazing among others
-
The portions that they provide are not that filling if you are not ordering main dishes
-
Except that food was very delicious and staff was also very good
-
The food was full of flavors and the dishes were juicy which personally I like
-
They provide you with some great fusion in cocktails too which you must try
-
Few of us went for chili cocktails which were amazingly electric but be warned do not consume chunk of the fresh chill's on the edge of the glass
-
We went for a mix of sharing plates and every morsel was mouthwatering and delighting
-
The food is rich in flavors and it is quite difficult to get these huge portions at this price in London
-
The service is also good enough
-
I would recommend Lima (Fitzrovia) to have a good time with your family
-
The staff of the majority of restaurants is very happening and possess a pleasing personality and also
-
The service provided by them is mind blowing
-
Majority of the restaurants are excellent value for money with amazing decor and ambiance
-
This is a very interesting little place that is well known for its colourful food and service
-
Both of which were exquisite and tasted grand
-
The service was excellent and accommodating
-
Whilst the food's presentation was beautiful and perfect
-
A place which is a perfect melange of authentic cuisine and cultural exploration of two cuisines at its finest
-
Lima (Fitzrovia) has a japanese authenticity and roots with perfectly merged itself with flavors from Peruvian cooking and HOW
-
Ordered Beef and Fish which was delighting
-
The taste was authentic and very exquisite but the limited menu was a drawback
-
The portions served was pretty less and it won't qualify as a great value for money
-
If you want to go to place which is quiet and have a good time then this is not a place for you
-
My experience at this restaurant was pleasant and memorable
-
The only downside is that the staff wasn't very well versed with the dishes and their ingredients
-
Lima (Fitzrovia) is worth visiting
-
My colleague's mashed potatoes were served cold
-
The service was exceptionally bad and the waiters were confused and inhospitable
-
I have been to this restaurant only once with my partners and have mixed feelings about the place
-
The servers are also friendly
-
The portion sizes are however adequate and the prices are reasonable
-
They are really innovative and food on offer was quite innovative and surprising at the same time
-
I would suggest you to go with the chocolate desserts
-
The entire meal was a sumptuous one and came at fairly reasonable prices
-
The atmosphere was quite relaxed and my whole experience was nice
-
Lamb and fruit cream were better than other items
-
Everything a bout this restaurant is appreciative and delighting
-
The decor and atmosphere were perfect and worth a watch
-
This eatery is close to of their standards
-
Delighting food but in my opinion if you are looking to Michelin standard you can find other place at obviously HIGHER prices
-
If you are looking something different and soothing to both stomach and pocket this is the place to be
-
The interiors were too dull for my liking but the music was decent
-
The portions are a bit tiny and not very filling
-
The service too is nothing extraordinary
-
The worst bit was the lack of cleanliness this time around
-
The tables were dirty and sticky
-
We had a lovely experience at Lima (Fitzrovia) because it is a combination of awesome food and perfect service
-
We had ordered the daily special of lamb and asparagus which were well cooked with their Peruvian accompaniments
-
Especially our waiter who was quite knowledgeable and helped us in selecting our menu
-
The desserts were quite good as well
-
Especially the cacao porcelana which is quite smooth and heavy
-
I recently visited this upscale place with a couple of friends and had a decent experience
-
The food was excellent and was cooked to perfection but the quantity was too less leaving us wanting for more
-
The ambience was quite good
-
The service was also pretty decent
-
The flavours are unexciting and the food is not that good
-
The sea bream ceviche was the only dish that I enjoyed
-
Except that anything else was hardly authentic
-
The crab was over stuffed with potatoes and was pretty bland and boring
-
The pisco sours are pretty good and I only liked the cocktails
-
We spent almost 220 pounds between three people with a botlle of house wine (£
-
Service on this occasion was really bad
-
Self service is not what I really expect from a Michelin star restaurant
-
Staff entering tables and chairs from outside with customers still in
-
The crockery was shaped in the way I would imagine Peruvian crockery to be shaped like
-
THe inside of the restaurant was very well lighted
-
Warm cozy couches sprinkled with I would imagine to be Peruvian pillows
-
Cubes of bread were brought forwards
-
Over all it was a very hit and miss meal
-
My friend and I were given a great corner table
-
The interior is not obviously glamorous but it is instead designed to be fun and comforting
-
In true South American style there are splashes of bright colour across the interior with contemporary seating and artwork on the walls
-
As a result dining at LIMA is always an experience worth looking forward too
-
We started off with some soft corn bread which was soft and a slightly sweeter freshly baked bread and it was served with a dip that reminded me of a mild sour cream
-
We each tried a cassava starter which was composed of a small ball of savoury root vegetable that had a fried crispy coating
-
Some of the group tried the Mohika cocktail which contained vanilla and mint which was sweet and apparently addictive as they couldn&rsquo
-
We had some bottled still water but the tap water was equally as good and is served with cucumber and pomegranate which infuses it ever so slightly with a freshness and sweetness
-
4.50) starter which was a little sweet
-
Lovely and warm with a familiar taste of sweet corn and also a quinoa soleterito salad with tigers milk (£
-
4.50) which is a very misleading name
-
Tiger's milk is not from tigers and neither is it a milk
-
The red potato has quite a strong consistency that needs to be broken up with other flavours and textures and as this dish had some almost sour flavours it was well balanced and contrasted well
-
They enjoyed the different sauces the dishes came in but the trouble with pretty presentation is that there is usually less food on the plate
-
The suckling pig with giant corn
-
In fact there is a high chance I would return to taste it again
-
Paiche Amazonian fish with seaweed brown butter
-
24) and seabass chalaca with olluco tuber root
-
Their only gripe once again was that there simply wasn't enough
-
I only tried the biscuit with the sprinkled icing sugar as being dairy free
-
I couldn't eat the ice cream but it was nice and sweet and something I would have again if I visited again
-
The others tried the chirimoya mousse with crispy meringue
-
Through this meal I tasted several new dishes at the restaurant which was new and exciting
-
As the cuisine is so specific and unique to me it would be a rare occasion to try something different
-
The prices at LIMA are on the steep side
-
The portions are quite modest
-
I can see why presentation as well as taste are equally important to them
-
S not a cuisine that I am really familiar with and always keen to true new adventures
-
Inside the decor is modern and clean with mirrors everywhere
-
The wait staff are very helpful and explained every dish in detail
-
It's true we Londoners are so spoiled as a result
-
I just felt that perhaps this was a little of style of substance
-
Some was just a bit underwhelming (not in looks but some of it was lack in the taste department) such as the fish main
-
Ended up in Lima with a friend one evening
-
Had heard so much about it and was so excited to go
-
I was very happy with our food and overall experience
-
She spent a long time in Peru and this restaurant is fusion rather than just Peruvian
-
It is a modern fusion concept (which is ace) but it might be nice if this was more clear
-
It is suggested that it is almost authentic
-
One michelin star Lima is a testimony to the diversity of Peruvian cuisine and ingredients
-
Tamarind and cheese starter was wonderfully bright
-
The duck itself was tender even though it was slightly too well done
-
The earthy beetroot flavour from the reduction was well balanced by the sweetness of the dulce leche
-
The mastermind behind Lima is a world renowned Peruvian chef
-
Realised that it was taking place in September
-
We were happy the menu was quite short (2 small pages)
-
As everything was unfamiliar and we struggled to decide what to eat
-
The starters arrived with a little bowl of bread (olive and red pepper
-
We started with two punchy Pisco cocktails (however the waiter suggested another one "
-
Really impressed with the complexity of the flavours
-
How the onions and citric juices were dialed down with mellow beans and the natural octopus juices
-
Then we shared the black cod with corn and palm core
-
Was delicious (neighbour Roka is a strong competitor though) and the duck
-
The desert didn't have the right balance avocado mousse with chocolate could maybe have worked better with a lot less avocado and plenty more chocolate
-
Reasonable price and I had the best pisco sour ever in London
-
The fish roe with tiger's milk was very special and well presented
-
While the beef was really good
-
Toast campaign which is all about celebrating every moment in life
-
Food and fashion ideas and encourages readers to share their own experiences with a section devoted to readers celebrations and parties
-
Some of the best food I've ever tasted was in the different towns and cities of Peru
-
Therefore I was somewhat horrified at what Lima presented
-
It's has a Michelin star so I was expecting quality and I suppose that was there
-
Perhaps they should have emphasised that this was more Modern Fusion food
-
There was none of the beautifully tasty and comforting dishes or zingy and fresh tasting ceviche which is what you usually would get served up in Peru
-
It was a shame for me since I really was hoping to at least somewhat enjoy the food
-
Where the dishes are as pretty as they are creative
-
38 per head is a very reasonable price
-
Lima is the one place I love and I really recommend a visit if you are after a taste of contemporary Peruvian cuisine crafted from unusual ingredients
-
Flavours and textures and everything is absolutely delicious
-
The starters are a real highlight for me
-
To be fair I have never found myself to be disappointed with any of the other offerings
-
The octopus olivo and lomo steak Huancaina are also worthy of mention
-
As the larger dishes are just as interesting as the starters
-
Not only the food was so flavorful and tasty it was a joy to look at as the presentation was just lovely
-
Its also exciting to know they are planning to come to dubai
-
Recently I was looking for a place in London to have a sophisticated Sunday lunch to celebrate a &ldquo
-
List for ages and as soon as I knew they are offering the &ldquo
-
Our cousin took us to this restaurant during our vacation and it was incredible
-
The food was great and the ingredients were very fresh
-
Presentation was impressive
-
The decoration and the atmosphere were really nice however the service what slightly slow
