Chez Elles (Brick Lane)

• The bistroquet was opened last June by two French girls in the heart of Brick Lane
• The warm welcome makes it the best spot to chill out on a Sunday afternoon with friends
• Chez Elles is definitely worth a visit if you&rsquo
• Chez Elles were able to accommodate the six of us at 6pm
• We were told the table was booked from half eight
• The decor in Chez Elles is eclectic and adorable &ndash
• Along with the loveseat in the corner and French tunes are the stuff of instagram dreams

• I found the sauce was creamy and rich
• The only vague criticism had by the table was one I hear almost every time &ndash
• Admittedly their collection of crockery is infinitely more charming
• It was good to see that nothing had changed apart from some waiters waitresses (but this is kind of normal in hospitality industry)
• I went for dinner with my sister and a friend who just moved to live in the UK
• My friend and I ordered the confit duck with Reblochon cheese gratin dauphinois
• The duck was perfectly cooked with crispy skin
• My sister had a beef tartare served with French fries
• I like the way they mince the meat with a knife and it is perfectly seasoned
• At the end it didn't really change the dessert as there was coffee in it anyway
• Their team is always very nice and so welcoming
• Chez Elles stood out from the crowd with its French name and impressive number of happy heads that could be spotted on the other side of the glass
• Chez Elles is a very unique
• The restaurant is filled with antique hotchpotch bits and bobs but
• The lighting is very dim and romantic and sets a good mood
• The food unfortunately though was a bit hit and miss for us
• The duck rillette was a little bland
• The highlight for me was the puddings
• The chocolate mouelleux was rich and decadent and super tasty
• We had dinner here on weekend and it was great experience
• I had goat cheese salad for starter and it was really good
• Mains we had lamb steak with parmesan and grilled homemade rib eye steak
• Both item looked really great and they were good in portions
• My friend said it was the best lamb steak he had lately and it was true
• We had dinner here last week and it was an experience worth remembering
• Both were generous in portions and were amazing in taste
• We often visit Chez Elles (Brick Lane) for lunch mostly and Chez Elles (Brick Lane) is just amazing
• Chez Elles (Brick Lane) is a must try
• Perhaps the best part of all is that it's located in an area one wouldn't think to visit for great french food
• The only average thing about Chez Elle's is the prices
• Well worth a visit if you are in the area
