Cafe Tiffin (Clerkenwell)

• I came here recently with a friend who loves Indian food
• I'm all about the food so was happy to overlook
• I am a purveyor of many Indian restaurants and I was expecting a very average meal
• The waiter returned ten minutes later with a sizzling tray release wonderful aromas and promptly served us excellently cooked pieces of meat as our starters
• Our mains also were much better than I expected given the look of the place
• Not the best curry I have had but certainly very good with huge pieces of chicken
• So i think it is popular with the locals
• If you're looking for a reasonably priced indian with some friends
• Cafe Tiffin is a pleasant little restaurant tucked away on Compton Street
• The dining room is very small and it is quite possible to find yourself the only diner outside peak hours
• Including a businesslike grid on the menu listing curry dishes against a selection of meats and the food is pretty good
• Cafe Tiffin's real draw is its very competitive pricing
• The only drawback is that the service is tooooo slowww
• Also the best part is they also do home deliveries
