Does the pigeon terrine my friend got have anything to do with French cuisine
-
The tortellini were tasty enough to please another Italian&rsquo
-
Feeling peer pressured into ordering it is without a doubt one of the sweetest first world problems one could ever hope to have to solve
-
Two Valrhona chocolate paves with a scoop of pistachio ice cream
-
Reminding myself that quality is always worth rewarding
-
The bill presented me with the proverbial icing on the cake
-
The service was pretty poor there were three of us and we all had the rib and shin burgers and we ordered together

So will probably try again as the food itself was very tasty

I can safely say this is one of my favourite Gastro pubs in London

The food is amazing and the menu is full of unusual dishes from Gull Eggs starters to Crab linguini
-
Tonight we were opportunistic as they were doing 50% off food due to the Tube strike so we finally gave it a try
-
A nice basket of warm sour dough with olive oil and balsamic was brought to the table as we sat down
-
My companion's food was much better than mine
-
He had the kid sausages with onion gravy and polenta
-
Every thing on the plate was executed well
-
A smear of pea puree was more for decoration than flavor and there were three very small florets of crunchy deep fried cauliflower
-
Hopefully the undercooked chips was a one off error
-
My partner and i went for dinner at 21.15 and were seated immediately
-
We were bought complimentary sourdough bread and olive oil with balsamic while we waited for our orders
-
My lamb shoulder off the main menu was very rich and soft
-
Dropping off the bone with a lovely glossy gravy
-
My partner's red mullet and risotto from the specials board was especially nice
-
The risotto with sorrel and lemon
-
Salsa verde and wild garlic was delicious and has inspired him to try and replicate it
-
I found the ginger biscuits with my posset too thick and something with the consistency of a brandy snap would have suited me better
-
Pop up cocktail bar in collaboration with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
-
A regular menu filled with great gastropub dining
-
Would not recommend the 35 day steak as it is a bit thin and not as tasty as to be expected
-
The bernaise accompaniment was exceptional
-
Only drawback was the relatively small selection of beers on tap
-
The sauce was delicious and the accompanying vegetables were well seasoned
