  • Perhaps he would mooch about looking at the various statues of himself to establish which is most life like

  • The first thing that struck me about Buddha Bar on entering was the darkness

  • Ambient light as a result is dim by contrast

  • We commenced with bubbles then chose for starters Prawn &ldquo

  • We shared English beef fillet with black garlic sauce and truffle mash

  • Alongside steamed red Bream with lemongrass broth and Enoki mushrooms

  • The bream dish was interesting and I felt that it would have been a good dish to eat on a mountainside after a long hike

  • Light dish although there is a sourness in the broth that I wasn&rsquo

  • Where we went wrong was in sharing the two dishes between us

  • The Buddha Bar brand is no doubt a recipe for success as there will always be a market for swanky restaurants with pan Asian influences

  • When it comes to family such as cousins it is very hard to see them on a regular basis because of life really

  • So when I meet with my cousins I always look forward to it and make an extra effort

  • This time our chosen venue was Buddha bar

  • I have heard many good things about Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) so I was excited to finally be going there

  • Now let me tell you that I was never really fan of Sushi

  • So on a very rainy Friday we trekked our way to Knightsbridge where we were greeted by friendly staff and our socking wet coats were taken and we were shown to our table

  • The venue is your typical bar/restaurant with minimal lighting and modern decor

  • (I think an episode of Made in Chelsea was filmed there)

  • First and most important thing we did was order the wine

  • Typical white wine was ordered as you can&rsquo

  • Spicy edamame was ordered first to get us going

  • My fingers were covered in the sauce so you could say the edamame were finger lickin&rsquo

  • Looking at the menu there are a lot of options so the girls had a tough choice

  • I was very reluctant to try at first but I was told to just go for it&hellip

  • The presentation was picture perfect and there was enough to share between five people

  • They made sure were happy with our food

  • Our wine glasses were never empty and even when everything had been eaten and cleared away they allowed to stay for one more bottle of wine

  • Our bill in the end was pricey but they may be because of the four bottle of wines we had (oops) but at £

  • 42 each I thought it was totally worth it with good food

  • I would definitely visit Buddha bar again and see what else the food menu has to offer and try more of the their cocktails especially with their impeccable service and the cool

  • All in all it was a good Friday evening

  • I love dim sum and this was totally delicious

  • Steamed red bream with lemongrass broth was the perfect choice for a light dish

  • Five spiced barbecued chicken with teriyaki sauce was our dish of the night

  • The dish was served with a gorgeous spicy yuzu miso and onion salsa

  • Buddha bar is a really fantastic restaurant with a lively atmosphere and stunning decor

  • The restaurant is perfect for every occasion

  • Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) is one to impress whilst in the relatively new stages of the dating process

  • I was impressed with their 'crunchy sushi' (basically deep fried

  • I was slightly disappointed with the toilets

  • Low key supper or a night out with the ladies/gents

  • The tables were full and we could stand around the bar

  • Was a blessing in disguise because the bar tender made us cocktails which were not on the menu

  • Was Russian and one of my friends was fluent in Russian

  • The decor is modern with an Oriental twist featuring holographic Buddhas and dragons

  • I always feel that these 'deals' come at a price and that was the case here

  • I had steamed mussels which came with a wondrous lemongrass

  • Sweet basil and coconut milk stock but was effectively soup and 8 mussels

  • Main I chose the hoisin duck in a steamed bun which was presented on top of an inedible banana leaf and accompanied by a side salad

  • This is by far the smallest main I have ever been served and for me was another starter in terms of portion size

  • Dessert I had the pistachio macaroon which was perfectly chewy

  • In fact all the food was really good but I felt quite cheated by the amount I was actually given

  • 40 glass of cognac that was served to me in a tumbler

  • An establishment aiming for the higher end of the spectrum this is a complete no no

  • Probably one of the best bars I have been to in London

  • Because they are all incredibly presented and tasty

  • I went there with a friend of mine for a birthday in the evening

  • The atmosphere was amazing and the music was nice as well creating a great ambiance

  • The food was delicious and the staff was nice as well

  • The prices were a bit overwhelmed but everything deserved it price because of the cozyness and hospitality offered there

  • Buddha Bar London is Located a few minuties from Knightsbridge tube station and Harrods as well and i highly recommend it

  • It had a mix of savoury and sweet food items served with a pot of tea of your choice

  • The veg rolls very ordinary but the best of the savoury lot was the dish with crispy prawns which not only had a good crispy texture but also had some amazing seasoning to add up to the taste

  • The huge pistachio macaroon was divine but the tiny chilli chocolate mousse was the show stealer

  • Finally the green tea cheesecake that didn't sound very appealing was delivered better than expected

  • What was particularly disappointing was the service

  • They informed me that the kitchen was about to close

  • Buddha Bar does have great food however the distinct lack of service and customer attentiveness was unacceptable

  • All that glitters is not gold"

  • Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) was very glamorous with high end aesthetic and with people looking very chic

  • Prawn Tempura with Asparagus Sushi"

  • The place was very active and vibrant as the waitress/waitresses were moving all around and serving everyone quite quickly

  • One small negative point to make is the location of their toilets

  • The location of this restaurant is quite good and Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) has some stunning views

  • This restaurant is perfect to celebrate a special occasion and I can safely say that you will get the value for your money

  • The atmosphere was quite lively and the service was quick

  • The ambience was shoddy and the service was unaware of our needs

  • The staff got us the wrong order and that is where the frustration increased

  • I went to Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) few days back with my group of friends and had a really nice evening

  • We went for few cocktails along with some comfort food

  • The dishes were appealing and appetizing

  • The cocktails were the king of our table

  • Kiwi kukama is one of them that i would truly recommend

  • The cocktails too are really expensive

  • We ordered Spicy Lamb Rack and Duck with Tamarind Sauce and Nashi Pear

  • All of them were pretty excellent as well

  • Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) is clearly a blend of amazing lights and brilliant music

  • If you happen to be a person who loves to explore new places to eat which are lively and happening much then check Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) out

  • Some of the dishes at Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) were extraordinary

  • Please note the prices are on the higher side to accommodate for the location of the restaurant

  • The overall experience is quite awesome and the service is good starting from the point when you enter till the time you leave

  • I would suggest you all to go there in a group and have some quality time with your friends or colleagues

  • Buddha Bar is located in the heart of the London city and is one the best five star restro bar I have visited by far

  • The experience of being here was amazing and very different

  • The staff and their service was incredible

  • By far the best food I have tried in my entire life

  • Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) is quite expensive but very high end

  • The atmosphere is absolutely amazing

  • Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) is definitely worth a visit

  • A three course set menu with a champagne glass at a very good price

  • Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) is great for celebrating special occasions

  • I really liked Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) a lot and the reason for this is the amazing food and incredible selection of cocktails that the menu offered

  • My other orders of chicken satay among others were not particularly memorable

  • We had a lot of expectations from the one that has recently opened in London city and I am really sorry to say that it was not really an amazing experience

  • The pricing was too much but the portions offered were too less as compared to the high end prices

  • The restaurant is a decent place to spend with your intimate fellow beings

  • The portions are adequate and the service is also decent

  • This is a nice little bar with some really fancy decor

  • The interiors are well decorated and keep you engaged

  • The drinks are really nice too

  • The food and drinks are nothing more than average

  • The decor here is amazing though very dimly lit

  • The seafood was the highlight of the meal

  • Looking at the prices hoping it would be a good experience which was costing us at 25 pounds each which included the drinks

  • We were given 2.5 hours to dine and were told that the table would be required after that amount of time

  • The champagne was served in a plastic glass

  • The place is good but the menu and the service is in no way acceptable

  • The atmosphere is fancy and charming catering well to posh crowd

  • Variety of cocktails and wine list is mesmerizing

  • Service is a bit of a lag here and is not prompt enough

  • The food was average with a few hits and misses

  • The dessert was quite good

  • The atmosphere is a delight and manages to make you relaxed and comfortable

  • We went here with high expectations as we have always had a good experience whenever we went to other branches of the same chain

  • The standards of the food are not up to the mark

  • The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable on a set menu that they serve before 7 pm but after that

  • The ambiance is very Chinese style and is beautiful

  • The drinks were superb too

  • The prices are reasonable

  • The ambiance is the catch and ensures a repeat visit

  • Even though we had made a prior reservation we were a given a horrible place to sit

  • They were not even courteous enough to ensure that they tried their best to select the best option for us

  • I was waiting to visit Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) since long and I am hugely disappointed with the absolute lack of courtesy amongst the staff members

  • Landed at Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) while looking for a classy and high end restaurant and we were not disappointed

  • Bar tenders are helpful and customized our cocktails

  • Atmosphere is enticing and has an eastern touch

  • Only downside is the atmosphere is low lit

  • Buddha Bar is one of my favourite restaurants in London so far

  • I had the seafood dumplings (served with chilli sauce)

  • The wok fried beef with udon noodles and the pistachio macaroon with chocolate sauce

  • It makes the perfect place if you are looking for a nice fancy night

  • Whether it is dinner or drinks

  • Very expensive but once for a change it is affordable and nice

  • Lesser variety of food but his place is more vo created for the bar the interiors and variety of drinks

  • The food at BB is pretty mixed

  • It melts in your mouth in a manner which most restaurants ( including some of the most expensive) are unable to achieve

  • The desserts are also fantastic

  • Is not worth the money and is typically rather bland

  • I have been to Buddah Bar a few times for drinks with friends and absolutely love Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge)

  • The interior is very contemporary and I love the whole dé

  • As you walk in and go up the few steps you can help but admire the beautifully hang swan sculptures made of crystals which are at each side of the stairs leading down

  • There is a bar area right in front of the seating and dinning area and they also has a little corner where there is reserved seating

  • If this space is available you can ask to sit there without having made a reservation

  • I sit here all the time as it can get very busy and crowded and this little corner is just very intimate and you can sit comfortably and talk to your friends

  • I love desserts so no surprise that was my favorite part of the meal

  • The choc fondant with pistachio ice cream is absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend it

  • Everything was presented beautifully

  • The cocktails are exceptional and are unique in presentation

  • That being said the mocktails are just as good and I definitely recommend them

  • It is such a beautiful place with great ambiance

  • We only tried the sushi and I can say that is delicious and very fresh

  • The avocado and salmon sushi is a must try

  • Also the food and the cocktails are pretty good

  • We started with the cocktail of the day which was the most stunning green tea martini

  • A perfect way to peruse the menu and talk with my husband

  • We were tended to in perfect harmony not overly fussed over but always with our champagne glasses filled

  • I say unfortunately only because you are all missing out in not being there too

  • Absolutely delicious food I love this restaurant the service is great the decoration is beautiful they have a fantastic selection well worth the money

  • Buddha Bar is a spectacular restaurant for a nice formal dinner

  • The music was very good crowd was very classy and service was excellent

  • Rock shrimp tempura with a mango sauce and the B Bar chicken salad (which I love and always order)

  • The sushi was very very good it was absolutely perfect

  • The tempura was also very good the dip was very flavourful and nice

  • The chicken salad is one of the best I have ever had I absolutely love it

  • All in all B Bar is an awesome place for a special night or a formal dinner

  • I went here with 6 others for a friend's birthday dinner

  • The restaurant is located very close to Knightsbridge station

  • 50) with 3 others and was told that we could still get in on the happy hour

  • With rice (pictured) with Dark chocolate coated strawberries for desert and a Pina Colda to drink which was brilliant

  • The sea bass was cooked well but the portion was just too small

  • It was a friday night so there was a lot of hustle and bustle

  • The wellness menu is decent value for money

  • The A La carte is overpriced

  • Went for dinner and drink with a group of six

  • The ambience was beautiful and upbeat with an air of sophistication

  • The portions were big and the food had the correct amount of flavour

  • Black cod and rock shrimp tempura which I heard was really good

  • The food and service was great however the star of the night was the ambience

  • The food is lovely and the service is attentive and kind

  • The prices are also quite proportionate at what you get

  • I came here for my birthday and it was so worth it

  • The service was impeccable and the food was delicious

  • The prices are high but its the experience that counts

  • Last week I was kindly invited to experience the wonder of Buddha Bar

  • I heard many mixed reviews of Buddha Bar but their evenings are known across the world

  • Dark chocolate and raspberry ice cream cones filled with lemon curd

  • The tempura sushi rolls were out of this world

  • The mango chilli dressing on our prawn tempura sushi was excellently balanced and really smooth

  • It worked brilliantly with the precisely cut avocado too

  • The teriyaki chicken was really moist and soft

  • The chicken is then flashed on the chargrilled for a touch of bitterness

  • As it wasn't too sweet and the portion relatively small it was a great ending to our big meal

  • The highlight of the whole meal for me was the incredible dark chocolate and raspberry ice cream cones

  • We had a mini cone each covered in freeze dried raspberries and filled with lemon curd

  • Sweet and bitter flavours was absolutely brilliant and possibly my dessert of the year

  • Though I loved the miso cod and it is one of my favourite dishes in the whole world

  • Buddha bar is a really special place to experience

  • The drinks menu and cocktails were quite lovely too

  • Even if you only visit for drinks Buddha Bar is a great Friday or Saturday night out

  • It is also a restaurant offering the best in Japanese fine dining

  • This 2 hour class starts off with a talk about sake and its origins

  • Each offering is paired with sushi so that you can taste how they compliment each other

  • Everything is so luxurious and the atmosphere is great (even on a Monday night

  • I shared some sushi and a side of sweet potato with one of the girls

  • It was good but the sweet potato was crazy expensive for what it was at £

  • The others ordered the mini burgers which were Delish and the 5 spice chicken which was nice but the chicken was actually a tiny bit chewy

  • The service was fantastic and the cocktails are amazing

  • When a complaint was made with regard to this the waiter rolled his eyes at us

  • As the atmosphere there is rather nice and you wont have to deal with rude staff

  • When the table was ready we moved downstairs

  • We ordered Makai sushi with prawn tempura and asparagus

  • Grilled sweet potatoes with teriyaki sauce and padron pepper

  • The service was remarkable and professional

  • Don't expect to eat big portions but the experience of these combination of flavors was just amazing and every bite was a combination of sensation

  • Buddha bar has got some stuff done well such as the beef short ribs which were succulent and soft

  • I also enjoyed an introduction to the duck and foie gras gyoza although the texture was a little grainy (probably due to foie gras)

  • The rest of the stuff was average such as the miso marinated grilled salmon which was nicely seared but wasn't quite pink inside

  • Then there was the disastrous stuff

  • The prawns were tiny and flavourless

  • We also ordered some buddha bar noodles but they were limp and broken to pieces (another indication of poor quality)

  • Matches my taste in music perfectly))) the remixes of different genres and music from different countries is just so joyful

  • So we were satisfied with the service

  • The first thing that catches your attention is the ambience of the place

  • Buddha Bar is on my to do list every time I am around Knightsbridge

  • I love their collection of white wines but my new favourites are their cocktails

  • Have never been disappointed with the food either

  • I only wish the portions were a bit bigger

  • I feel their prices are justified for the overall setting they have to offer

  • I love it when you can try an afternoon tea with a difference

  • S afternoon tea before complete with mini pork pies and sausage rolls

  • One that included soup and another with mini ice cream cones

  • The afternoon tea at Buddha Bar Knightsbridge has a fantastic Asian theme and I was really looking forward to trying it

  • I ALWAYS thought Buddha Bar (Knightsbridge) was overrated but I was completely wrong

  • The service was impeccable

  • The service at this restaurant is really exceptional and efficient which was one of my highlights of the night

  • Moreover the menu itself is mouth watering and there is so much to choose from

  • The price for sushi in this city is way way out of control

  • The bartenders are super cool

  • There own Buddha Bar beer bottles are a cool Buddha man shape yet the beer tastes like a Grolsch

  • One could say well a place like that is only for rich people

  • Sushi prices are now beyond the point of normal

  • I was served a mojito with an iced fly

  • Ask for something with mango (always forget the name)

  • Buddha Bar have provided me with the worst customer service i have ever had

  • They took money out of my account with a different company name and I have had to call up 10 times and no one calls me back

  • They kept saying they were going to pay me back but it has been 10 days and I still have not been paid

  • Every time I call them back they do come up with a different story

  • They apparently are not allowed to provide me with a senior member of staff name so I have not been able to escalate this issue

  • The taste of the food was not nice and I would not eat here again

  • They dont have a lot of vegetarian options and the food is little bland

  • Though the ambience is really nice and you can visit this restaurant to have some nice drinks

  • Well today I went to this restaurant and I must say that this is one of the best restaurant in this area

  • At first I was in dilemma whether to visit this outlet or not but my decision to visit this outlet was right

  • Food at this outlet was really delicious
