The place is well decorated with modern theme yellow lighting
-
The portions are generous and the food is delicious
-
The wine list is never ending and is filled with exquisite wines from all over Europe
-
The only down side is that some of the waiters are relatively new and don't have too much knowledge of the menu
-
I went with family and it was a great day out
-
I have also been in the evening with my girlfriend and had cocktails
-
An excellent restaurant with an exclusive feel
-
Wine list is magnificent and the cocktails are well designed and skilfully crafted
-
Portions good and the food is as you would expect
-
Food is delicious and service is very good as well
-
Overall a great experience if you are looking to catch up with friends over good food and drinks at a decent price
-
The only criticism is the fact that you don't get a side plate for the bread rolls
-
The Ivy (Covent Garden) has a good reputation and was a celeb hang out but I was surprised at the food
-
We did overstay and were not hassled
-
Even though it was mid afternoon
-
Also photography is prohibited
-
After all we are paying for the privilege
-
I had the famed shepherds pie which was very tasty
-
We also ordered the baked Alaska which is finished and served table side
-
I don't think the prices are too insane but the wine sure does push the price up
-
The prices are reasonable for what you pay for and it's well worth it for a meal out on a special occasion
-
The tables are set beautifully and the vibe is calm and classy
-
A restaurant with such a good reputation
-
That reason I think it is actually overpriced
-
I enjoyed my experience here and it has truly lived up to the hype that was associated with it
-
There was a lot of variety that was offered in the menu and each of the dishes were prepared with a lot of focus on the ingredients and the spices added
-
The Ivy (Covent Garden) charges exorbitant amount but the quality of the food served is also excellent
-
The service was a bit poor and I often found the waiter disappearing for along while
-
Nothing of that remains now and the it is just another old restaurant down the block
-
The ambiance is very cheerful and the decor is good too
-
The food is pretty good and the taste is very authentic
-
Both the dishes were very well prepared and the meal was absolutely delicious
-
The quality of the dessert was also impeccable and the service was unbelievably quick
-
The menu was quite extensive with some great options
-
The salad I had with the Shepard's pie was great
-
The desserts were excellent as well
-
The best part about this restaurant is the artistic decoration that adds a lovely charm to the place
-
The artistic charm is carried forward in the presentation of the dishes and the menus too
-
The quality of the food is also amazing and the staff is pretty amazing as well
-
If you are planning to go here do try and get early reservation because on spot table is very difficult to get here
-
Love restaurant with some very authentic dishes to offer
-
The ambiance was nice and relaxing
-
Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic
-
So go here with a group of friends and have a good time
-
I ordered Dover Sole on the bone(boned at the table side with maximum ease)
-
The entrees were cooked to perfection
-
The only area that has a scope of improvement is the space crunch inside the restaurant as a number of tables are put in which kicks off the legroom and isle space
-
The ambiance is amazing and the place is neither reasonable nor expensive
-
The staff members are pleasing and the service is very efficient
-
A small restaurant with a lot of tables and chairs crammed into to place a greater number of people
-
The ingredients are of a supreme quality
-
The place is apt to come and hang out with friends or with your date
-
The food was of good quality but there was nothing so extraordinary that will make me feel okay that I am going to spend this much
-
I am not sure if The Ivy (Covent Garden) is worth a visit
-
I visited The Ivy (Covent Garden) for a lovely dinner with my partner to celebrate our anniversary
-
The staff was friendly and hospitable along with being attentive
-
I recently visited The Ivy (Covent Garden) with my better half and had a wonderful experience
-
The food was excellent and we were awestruck by seeing the variety of dishes available to choose from
-
The desserts were pretty good as well
-
This was combined with an efficient and friendly service
-
I am a great admirer of professionalism and am easily impressed if it is followed at any dining place
-
The signature fish here is cooked to perfection to make your experience even more enriching
-
Specially on a special occasion as you may just be lucky to be served with impeccable champagne
-
We were offered a lovely table by the staff and were offered an extraordinary but expensive champagne
-
The dinner was exquisite and the fish being their specialty
-
The service was accommodating and prompt
-
Was absolutely delicious and we left with one of the most amazing dining experiences ever
-
I visited here on my anniversary and was overwhelmed by the buzz that The Ivy (Covent Garden) was having
-
The place was not overly loud but it sure was pleasant enough
-
Mains I had Lamb which was also nice but I really did not liked the chips
-
The Ivy (Covent Garden) according to me is not a fine dining area but sure is a nice place to sit have enjoy your meal with your loved ones
-
We visited The Ivy (Covent Garden) on a special occasion such as our anniversary and I must say we were highly impressed
-
With music that was just set at the perfect volume to a delicious starter at our service
-
The Ivy (Covent Garden) was true indulgence
-
The Ivy (Covent Garden) is fairly decent
-
The service is equally delightful
-
I recently visited The Ivy (Covent Garden) and it was quite a decent experience
-
The food was just excellent and was perfectly cooked and had wonderful flavours in it
-
I have visited this restaurant couple of times and the food is always a delight
-
The service is also unbelievably quick and I must recommend you all to try the deals on the set menu
-
The atmosphere is quite a relaxed one and you will thoroughly enjoy your time there
-
Went their and it was a good choice to do so
-
We had scallops and also tried a variety of other seafood dishes all of which were very delicious
-
The quality of starters was also top notch
-
The atmosphere was quite lovely and the dÃ
-
The staff was very polite as well as helpful and the service was a quick one
-
The stick toffee pudding is a must have
-
The atmosphere here is cheery and The Ivy (Covent Garden) has a good vibe
-
I had visited The Ivy (Covent Garden) for a pre theatre meal with friends and I must say we had strange mixed feelings
-
The service here is decent but the environment is not what one would expect
-
Used to be popular with celebs and hence the hype
-
This restaurant is one of those rare places that serve fresh food prepared from fresh ingredients from scratch
-
The food is delectable and the staff is proficient
-
The prices are ridiculously high but since the place is a celebrity favorite
-
It certainly is the case where every dish is served with a side of history and stepping into its storied dining room is like a step back in time
-
We attended The Ivy on this night for a late supper after the conclusion of a show settling in for a meal starting with Popcorn Shrimp then moving onto mains of spaghetti with Atlantic prawns
-
The popcorn shrimp was so addictive
-
Rounding out the meal was a classic dessert of apple tarte tartin
-
A befitting ending to what was a classic evening
-
I hope you'll agree with me that The Ivy (Covent Garden) is a must go
-
Its theatrical history and glamour is right up my alley
-
So when I heard they were giving the place a huge renovation
-
The restaurant was buzzing and although one often gets to catch a glimpse of a famous actor
-
The ambiance is old school glamour
-
With heavy oak surroundings and the staff are dressed in crisp white shirts
-
The food was impeccable and even though we were in a large group everyone was satisfied and felt like they had experienced a real treat
-
About ten years ago I went for dinner at The Ivy with my family for my sisterâ
-
As she opened her presents my dad took out his camera about to snap away but he was immediately thwarted by a member staff
-
Photography was not allowed in this celebrity hideaway much to my dadâ
-
Last Sunday some of my favourite luxury blogging ladies and I went to The Ivy to see what's changed since it was refurbished earlier this year
-
The Ivy has a long history for being a favourite with celebrities
-
Those of us who are self employed or freelance may gain a lot of personal freedom
-
This year I was thrilled to be invited along to the Pernod Ricard Christmas lunch at the Ivy
-
I have to admit that not just a little of that was the location &ndash
-
The private dining room is lovely and I'd go back for dinner
-
Also the melon salad is refreshing and delicious
-
Of course dinner is the major attraction and it was delightful
-
Dinning floor is small but well designed so you never feel the fact there is no view to outside
-
The food it was excellent as expected and there was no disappointment
-
The list of mains is generous and well selected
-
It's nice to see in the menu British classics along with new creations and seafood
-
We were a party of three and all of us were very pleased with our options as a main
-
The decoration of appetizers and mains is less than exciting and it has a lot of space to improve
-
The Ivy celebrated its 100th year in 2017 and is a city icon in the theater district of London
-
Previous award for best London restaurant by the Harden&rsquo
-
This hot spot is a place to mark for a visit like other actors
-
This review is based on a visit before the renovation
-
I got the vegetarian full English and was one of the best I had ever tasted
-
My waiter was very attentive and polite and was able to answer all of my questions about the menu and give me tips when asked
-
I had the Salmon and haddock fish cake which was delicious and rich
-
Portion might not be as big but it was quiet enough for me
