Bonnie Gull (Fitzrovia)

• Who previously were seen as the Seafood Shack in hackney
• After a couple of projects they are now in this set up in Fitzrovia
• Great seafood restaurants are hard to come by in London
• The set up inside is small with enough space for 26 people
• Be prepared to get familiar with your neighbours as there is not much room for maneuver
• Only thing that maybe an issue is the space conumdrum
• Didn't really help me to be honest since this was a last minute plan and they were all booked up
• Parked ourselves in a nearby pub while I was on constant vigilance waiting for the phone to ring
• We started with some oysters and I preferred the slightly sweet Carlingfords to the Jersey Oysters from Ireland which had strong mineral aftertaste

• My companion chose the Cod wrapped in Prosciutto with Asparagus and Broad beans &ndash
• Both of us really enjoyed dessert a deconstructed Banana tart made of caramelized sliced bananas on a flat pastry drizzled with passion fruit and served with salted caramel ice cream
• I like the fun casual vibe of Bonnie Gull and it is an intensely charming spot

• I think that the interior of Bonnie Gull really hits the nail on the head with its laid back
• These clams were drenched in a white wine
• In short it was a great meal in a warm
• In a world with Unicorns and Fairies
• It may well be but I would suggest it is a charming bright restaurant done out in &lsquo
• All tables are rather close to each other and it's a vey intimate environment
• I ordered lobster raviolo for starter and the pasta is way to thick
• The lobster bisque was lacking in flavour and very average
• The oyster was super yum too
• Guests were also served with some bread that tasted like malt loaf
• The palate cleanser in some form of apple and something foam was however very nice
• I had the Seabass which was cooked well but not mind blowing and my friend had the cod which was nice and meaty
• The side of chips was huge and probably not something I'll recommend to go with the delicate fish
• Desserts were chocolate cake (super rich) and apple and pear frangipane with ice cream ( good pastry
• Had one of the best seafood in London
• I did share my plate with my mate in order to try all the different food they have
