Foley's (Fitzrovia)

• This new location is hidden within London&rsquo
• I think I knew that I was going to like Foley&rsquo
• The new restaurant is helmed by Mitz Vora
• Given the quite hot London day was happy to sit at a cooler table for two nearby
• The wines by the glass were serviceable
• While I tried to save some of the amazing Middle Eastern spiced aubergine with pomegranate
• Et al to pair with later dishes
• There was obviously no chance with the octopus/black miso
• Not even that much synergy with the lamb/hummus dish
• All the dishes were deliciously bold in their own right and best enjoyed individually
• S kitchen is headed up by Head Chef Mitz Vora who was previously sous Chef at The Palomar
• Fusion food is one of those misguided and blingtastically tacky relics of the 1980s that should&rsquo
• Ve died long ago along with shoulder pads
• At least that is what I couldn&rsquo
• I know that it is a rarely used word and most people would rather use its more commonplace synonym but I love words too much
• Another justification for use of uncommon syntax was to prevent my writing from seeming rather boring
