  • This is one of the best Indian restaurants in London

  • Ragada Pattice and kebabs are perfectly executed starters and the Karahi paneer will change your life

  • The restaurant was refurbed a year ago so is great for a nice evening out in the lovely Connaught square area

  • The restaurant has a brilliant home delivery service and is my only go to for Indian food

  • Bombay Palace is a must go place for Indian food lovers in London

  • It does justice to its global presence with merely the taste of its food

  • Though most of these are starters with only two main dishes

  • Its enough to give a clear idea of what the menu is capable of

  • Chicken Kolhapuri is quite delicious

  • Murgh Kaleji is again nice and gives a tangy feel

  • The babycorn is nothing extraordinary to be honest

  • The two special items are Ragda Pattice and the Dal Makhani

  • Dal makhani is the actual winner and takes the crown amongst all

  • It leaves you with no words and is quite capable to invite people on its own to Bombay Palace

  • Bombay Palace - Paddington (Marble Arch) is a rare combination of a good balance between food and ambiance

  • A little steep with the prices

  • Friendly big guy and it ended with me allowing him to set the menu for my group

  • He did inform me that there was a new menu being introduced

  • This is one of the only Indian restaurants in London that sports an Indian menu along with an Indian Chinese selection

  • Something that is normal in Mumbai in some ways

  • The waiters were swift and served Jain palates and veg and non veg

  • London surprises me with a delightful Indian meal and I step down from my usual judgmental throne and simply enjoy the experience

  • Bombay Palace was effortless on all accounts

  • Our elaborate meal began with some Dahi Batata Puri

  • The unusual addition of some sliced strawberries made for a surprisingly tangy and sweet combination with the rest of this savoury cold appetizer

  • Next on the joyride was the Kheema Potli

  • This is a must try if you are a fan of crazy flavours bursting inside your mouth for a fiesta of the senses

  • The Kheema was the most authentic moist minced meat delight to be gulfed down with some rice and raita

  • The Palak Paneer (my personal vegetarian favourite) was similarly cooked to perfection

  • The only dish that was slightly disappointing was the Roganjosh and mainly because it wasn&rsquo

  • T as spicy as my threshold was looking forward to

  • The whole point of this dark red curry from Kashmir is to test your senses with its strong flavor of spices and character which was starkly missing from this dish

  • Bombay Palace should be on top of your list if you are in the hunt for some authentic Indian cuisine with a comfortable degree of experimenting

  • This is one of those places you must visit irrespective of whether you are in the area or not

  • You venture inside and are met by an army of eager staff who lead you through into a slick

  • The dishes bore fundamentally Indian elements there was nothing in front of me I recognised (but old favourites are available)

  • Milder creamy dishes but the most notable for me was the Palak Paneer

  • A very rich spinach dish with large pieces of cottage cheese stirred through

  • As everything was totally delicious

  • The one drawback for me was the price of beer

  • It's a higher end establishment with the service and quality to warrant the higher end cost of dining

  • This is coming from a Mumbai based person who is a food lover

  • Literally all the food here is good you can never go wrong regardless of what you order

  • The quality and food taste consistence they have is amazing I have first discovered it back in 2005 and now we're 2014 and it's still as good if not even better

  • I have been to this restaurant thrice and the items on the menu are like treasures which you can't find in regular Indian restaurant or takeaway in U

  • The dishes are very authentic Indian and thus it makes my favourite eat in place in London

  • The portion sizes are designed for 2 people or even more in some cases

  • The best dishes for me was Schezuwan paneer and dal makhni

  • Every dish makes you feel that it is home cooked and even the price of the meal justifies what you pay

  • I liked he food and restaurant but service is quiet slow

  • The service at Bombay Palace was far from exceptional

  • The food however was very good and the meal overall was enjoyable

  • The food offered is authentic and traditional

  • You feel like you are in North India eating all the delicious spices India offers

  • The meal was quite expensive given that no alcohol was ordered with the per person spend at £

  • Its a nice place with modern design

  • Dining area is huge compared to other London restaurants

  • The Samosas and Pani Puri were incredibly authentic but i was not happy with curries

  • Cost is too high which comes up with a surcharge added

  • The chicken was cooked properly but it was little more on a oily side

  • Bombay Palace - Paddington (Marble Arch) is a sure visit if you like these types of dishes

  • The flavors of the food were great and the portions were big too

  • The dishes were full of aroma and very encapsulating

  • The ambience is nice and the decor is well done

  • Mains and drinks all are get served in line

  • Decor of the place was lovely and soothing

  • An always full restaurant is a good judgement of how a restaurant might be

  • It is always packed with lots of Indians celebrating special occasions

  • All of the dishes are very well prepared and presented

  • The service is top notch and the menu is quite an extensive one though I must say there are other restaurants serving a great variety of food when you compare it to the variety being served here

  • The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy

  • The quality of the food was par excellence

  • My only hassle was the waiting time for the starters

  • I assume this is because of the location

  • The manager was insolent and obnoxious

  • The papads served to us were old and bad

  • The one positive thing was that the vegetables were cooked nicely

  • Bombay Palace - Paddington (Marble Arch) was a huge disappointment to me

  • The ambiance is very soothing and beautiful

  • They served us with great and delicious canapes before the meal

  • The meal was superb and was presented very well

  • His birthday bash was a great success and I had a good time there

  • In fact this is one of those rare places in the city which serves traditional Indian cuisine

  • The service was pretty quick and efficient with the food being served hot and fresh

  • The free supply of water too was substantial

  • The biriyani served here is as good as it can get

  • Bombay Palace - Paddington (Marble Arch) is a very well known Indian option in the city

  • At most places it is actually very watery

  • If my opinion was to be considered

  • Then I would have to say that this is one of the best Indian options in the entire city

  • The service and staff were both amazing and excellent

  • This restaurant was quite crowded for a weeknight

  • The service here was not exactly efficient and i wish they could have been more prompt and attentive to the needs of the customers

  • The crowd here was of Indian families which was a good sign

  • I can say that the food here was amazing and the ambiance delightful

  • The prices are also appropriate as per the quality delivered

  • I have visited this restaurant before also and I strongly believe that the place is exorbitantly priced

  • The quality of food is excellent and the it is very well made and very well presented

  • What i really do not like about eating out now a days is the 15% service charge

  • According to me is quite unpleasant

  • The taste of the food was pretty decent in my opinion

  • The food at Bombay Palace - Paddington (Marble Arch) is delicious and the staff is pretty generous and polite

  • The decor wasn't anything exceptional but it was mellow and classic

  • We orderd the gingerlet as drinks which was suppose to have gin

  • Lime and ginger but there was no taste of ginger

  • The samosa was crispy and nicely spiced which came accompanied with a tamarind chutney

  • The Jaipuri bhindi had a light gramflour batter on it with a good taste of dry mango powder

  • The butter chicken wasn't authentic butter chicken you get in delhi but it was tasty nonetheless

  • The dal was creamy and tasty and the pomegranate raita was fruity and fresh with the addition of mint

  • The gobi was slightly overcooked and the breads were a disappointment

  • The paratha was deep fried and not how it's made india

  • Greeting diners as if they were guest at his home and assisting those unfamiliar with the menu

  • His enthusiasm was contagious

  • The restaurant is large and well stocked bar and amazing wine lists to pair with Indian food

  • Chicken Korma along with Butter Naans and Jeera Pulao

  • The Jeera Pulao was a bit let down and the rest of the dishes were true to the taste
