Bodean's (Soho)

• Bodean's (Soho) is very popular and there fore the place is always jam packed
• The ambiance here is pretty great and relaxed but has a tendency to escalate if you are in the mood for it
• I definitely recommend trying the best ever pulled pork
• The restaurant is a treat for people who love their meat and their sports
• They cook their food on low flame and with slow smoke supply
• From a Pig shaped doorknob it is a clear giveaway who they are inclined to serve
• The Buffalo wings are a must have here
• The shakes are also incredibly creamy and delicious
• Fries and slaw are some of the must haves here
• The dishes here are prepared in a good manner and the we loved it
• I would definitely recommend their star dish which is spare ribs
• I am in love with this zombie style meat mageddon place
• The seating is very quirky and enticing
• Not only does the place has satiating food to offer but it is so delicious i cannot stop raving about how much i crave for it
• I was here last summer with my family for a vacation and happened to visit this restaurant on the suggestion of a friend
• I loved the whole experience of eating with my hands and eating in a booth rather than eating on a table
• All the other dishes were prepared brilliantly
• My experience at this restaurant was not a good one

• The Buffalo wings were not at all authentic and the the onion rings were oily and mushy
• The food here is very sumptuous and tastes great
• The Portions are very generous and full of amazing taste

• I came to Bodean's (Soho) with a couple of friends who were already having a lunch here
• Though the food was nice and all
• Really been looking forward to this popular place we were glad to get a table after waiting for approximately two hours on a weekend night
• They revert to you when your table is free so you can check around other place
• Cocktails were great but only downside is the place is OVERCROWDED
• The sauces that come along with the meat only serve to elevate its taste
• The restaurant is always busy and wait for a table is expected
• The portion sizes are generously HUGE
• This is a nice little restaurant in town and is usually quite crowded so I had to wait for quite some time before I got a table
• The ribs were the best I've ever had
• Our first visit to this restaurant was about five years ago and it was a great experience then
• The service was quick and efficient
• We settled on ordering the Boss Hog platter and the grilled chicken served with chips were as much enjoyed by us as by our three year old son
• The steak that I received was extremely tender
• Everyone enjoyed their meal thoroughly and was satisfied by the end of it
• The wines were also in complete harmony with the dishes
• We ordered a platter and it was delighting and satiating
• The overall atmosphere was really enjoyable
• We visited this Restaurant on a Saturday night with a mindset that we would have to wait for at least 1.5 hours
• Luckily our table was ready within 30 minutes
• We had the sharing platter with burnt ends of pulled pork along with the side order which was reasonable priced
• The milkshakes were especially amazing
• One downside is you do have to order at the counter
• It's hardly difficult and we are all used to doing it at Nandos
• I had the pulled pork burger with chips and chocolate milkshake and my bf had the ribs
• Chicken and pulled pork combo with chips and salad and strawberry milkshake
• The pulled pork was very meaty maybe a bit too meaty for me but good and the chips having this really great seasoning that makes them stand out from other chips
• My bf ate all of his and was really impressed and ate everything
• Me the hilight was the milkshake
• I often don't like to have that with a meal as it doesn't wash food down but this one was AMAZING
• Every taste was just as good as the first and even though we were stuffed when we left we still were tempted by a second lol
• Bodean should not be dismissed easily as a just a franchise in hope of exploiting the jewel that is American grill cuisine
• Bodean I reckon is more down to earth but with a hint of modernity that is suitably classy within Soho
• The service was fast and friendly
• Best of all was the various types of grilled meat to choose from that span from buffalo chicken wings
• We had a Boss hog platter with a couple of slides
• All the meat was cooked nicely with plenty of flavour
• The pulled pork and burnt ends especially stood out with the smokey flavour and easily meat that pulled off from the bone
• I was a bit disappointed with the ribs because they were a bit smaller than imagined and didnt really had enough heat nor flavour one would expect from a rib place
• Also i thought baby rib were a bit colder than should be
• Upstairs is takeaway/deli and downstairs is a sit down restaurant with a different menu
• The portions size are large (we ordered clam chowder and baby back ribs)
• The clam chowder was a bit watery for my liking but the overall taste was good
• The ribs were juicy with plenty of meal
• The hot sauces are great hot wings were good but gigantic what kind of bird has wings that size
• I suppose you are really getting value for money
• I love the fact you can buy food to take out for your own BBQ along with the sauces
• Some of the staff are really rude and there's always too many people
• When you first arrive in the UK and are craving some good meat
• One evening a huge table of us went to try this American style restaurant and were not disappointed
• So to get a quick fix on what is Kansas City BBQ is all about I visited Bodean's to seek experience some good old American flavours
• You know it is what it is
• There was one minor hiccup with the wrong food being served but it was resolved quickly
• The sweet potato fries were really good
• The crispy coasting encased a soft middle but it's best to eat them whilst hot
• The cornbread muffins (one portion has 2) were quite big and came with a little tub of butter
• The flavour was good but I found them a little dry also
• The portions overall were big and I ended up having to take some of my meal home
• Went there on Saturday evening and was put on the waiting list and was told it would take 45 mins but only took 10 mins to get a table
• Ordered the 16oz burger with all the trimmings good burger and got it will sweet potato fries with is a fav of mine and again very nice
• The chicken thighs were a little bland and normal ribs were very fatty
• One thing to point out is the service which was excellent
• 40 which I would recommend getting a few sides but the place is very small and very tight
• Already been here twice with my boyfriend
• We love it and every time we are in town we end up having dinner here

• Prices are really fair and staff is not just qualified but also polite and funny
• ) only downside would be the is almost impossible book a table and queuing something can be hassle
• Is a set menu that comes with crispy fries and coleslaw or the full slab of BBQ sticky ribs that also comes with fries and coleslaw
• Was the Chilli Cheese all beef 1/4 dog that comes with their legendary chilli con carne &
• Melted cheese which was absolute perfection

• My uncle and I were going around Covent Garden looking for some delicious food and found this awesome place
• Unfortunately we didn't because we were out roaming in London
• Fortunately it was only 12noon and they had spare tables around and they were able to assign us one
• We were carefully looking through the menu and finally ordered the Bodean's Platter which is good for 2 people
• Bodeans was among my favourite restaurants when I was still based in London
• The chicken was grilled to perfection
• Moist and oozing with sweet bbq flavours
• Both spare ribs and baby back were also done well
• The pulled pork was nicely prepared as well soft and tender
• Perhaps it was a little overdone
• It was still good but not the highlight I was expecting it to be
• The founder hailed from Kansas city Missouri and wanted to bring the best of his favourite cooking to London
• Empties all over the tables when it was not even that busy
• I think they were having some promotion back then
• I should have just gotten the ribs instead of platter as it was really too much for just the both of us
