  • Word on the street is that Atari - Ya Foods (Swiss Cottage) supplies nobu with their fish

  • This is the best sushi restaurant north of Oxford street for sure

  • The Atariya group also supplies restaurants with their sashimi so I knew that at the very least

  • Getting overly excited for all the uni (sea urchin) and toro I was going to eat that night

  • All the fish was amazingly fresh

  • Everything was absolutely divine

  • I could see that the restaurant was full of Japanese people

  • We had our meal with a bottle of red

  • I had matcha and vanilla flavoured mochi ice cream (sticky rice cakes filled with ice cream)

  • We also had several plates of karage (Japanese fried chicken) and several dishes that we were absolutely stuffed by the end of it

  • T find fault with any of the dishes

  • So while I was quite dressed up there&rsquo

  • The service is catastrophic so can't give more than 3.0

  • I can recommend Atari - Ya Foods (Swiss Cottage) food is very tasty

  • You have to ask for everything staff is just not attentive enough to take your empty dirty plates away

  • I love the Nasi Dengaku (aubergine with Miso) and the Asparagus Tempura rolls

  • As I become greedy to order more but can never land up leaving a morsel as it is all so yum

  • What also impressed me was the desserts menu

  • We ordered the Caramel Souffle with Ginger Sorbet which was superb and coconut

  • I will keep returning as it is super local

  • I saw a lot of 'trainee' badges so can't blame them but it's not fair when you see other people who were seated after you being served before you because you have the luck of a trainee

  • Ve been familiar with Atariya in the past

  • When my desperation for Japanese food gets the better of me (which is often) I seem to repeatedly find myself fleeing to the Bond Street Atari Ya branch

  • I think it serves one of the best sashimi/sushi for its price/quality ratios in London
