• Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked
• The space was smaller than I'd imagined with booth seating along two walls and a central "
• Where you could end up sharing the table with another party
• The harbour at Newhaven is stunning specially at sunset and I look forward to coming back soon
• S saturation with new offerings in that oeuvre
• They have a staples menu that is augmented by an extensive specials board based on the catches of the day
• We both stuck to the specials for mains with seafood taglierini and seabream with asparagus our selections
• Our starters were with us looking decidedly bonnie
• Both were of very good quality with Claudio particularly taken by the combination of scallops
• Your first glimpse is of a brand new establishment that has tried to mix white leather and pine booths with a contrived sense of tumble down
• They were comments from the others about the poverty of the portion but I was roundly satisfied by the quality of the dish
• All valid but irrelevant characteristics when considering that it was great piece of work all the same
• The rest of the table was roundly seduced by the bargainous half lobster with chips
• Seeing them eaten yards from the harbour was a very hearty sight indeed
• Serving or eating it are all strongly advised against on conservation grounds (see advice from the Marine Conservation Society)
• Any observations on the quality of the serving are irrelevant
• This abdication of conservational responsibility is reflected in my diminished rating for the restaurant
• Started with crab salad then lemon sole with shrimps others of our party had lobster &
• Chips and sea bass with chorizo all of it fabulous
