  • We called in unplanned whilst in the City as the weather was so glorious

  • Atmosphere inside as the building is very old for those days when the weather is not so co operative

  • A good range of cask beers is available as well as trusted staple pub favourites for food

  • Not very busy but that actually was very pleasant as I got great service from the staff

  • I had the Ocean Fish and Chips and they were sufficient for a lunch

  • Was recommended an engine oil but apparently that was only a seasonal draft they had a while back

  • I make a point of eating here with my family when I visit them from my home in France

  • OK this time one or two items on the menu were unavailable
