Ye Olde Mitre (Farringdon)

• A genuine old (really old) pub in London with lots of nooks and crannies
• Both their pinot grigio and sauvignan blanc are really far too easy to drink
• The bar staff are pretty jokey and friendly in kind of a blokey pubby way and I love the fact that the only food they serve is toasties (not counting pork pies and scotch eggs of course)
• The place is often busy with people spilling out into the little courtyard in the summer even though it's one of the most well hidden pubs in London
• That I'm sure is over looked
• In this instance it's likely because the entrance is very unassuming
• The alleyway to its door is somewhat suspicious
• What's more is that Ye Olde Mitre continues it's unassailable
