Wolfe's Bar & Grill (Covent Garden)

• This restaurant located in Covent Garden is an old fashioned place with a new twist
• The restaurant was empty most of the time as we were there and I fill as though the service could of been a little more personal
• The starter of Calamari and Whitebait was a little bland of tasted of
• Main I went for the Wagyu deluxe which was very tasty and perfectly
• Restaurant is the regular calling spot for the Masonic crowd after their meals for a dignified glass of wine &
• Distinguished chatter with decent company
• Also boasting the best Daiquiri in London (they are GREAT) which left me feeling rather light headed at the end of the meal
• They're food is as you'd expect with various gourmet burgers cooked to your requirement and set out in an incredibly attractive manner too
• The wine list is a little pricey
• The red Malbec we opted for was medium bodied and very drinkable
• There's nothing wrong with it a little on the greasy side for my tastes portions are generous and the flavours just fine
• One of Wolfe's most distinguishable features is the dé
• I think many restaurants today can look standardised in their appearance with a modern look
• I ordered the Rib eye steak and it was cooked perfectly
• To a medium heat and was packed with juices and flavour
• Wolfe's Bar & Grill (Covent Garden) is beautifully decorated and looks fabulous
• The scallops were perfectly cooked
• When we arrived I was looking forward to dining here
• Upon opening the menu I was disappointed
• The scallops in my starter came done to a 'T' but unfortunately the big chunks of chorizo and undressed salad were not appealing
• 20 bottle of wine did I think it was money well spent
• We were left to top up ourselves whilst watching the staff leaning on their station most of the time with their arms folded having a catch up and drinking hot drinks
• When I go to a nice looking place with these prices I expect at least attentive service and great food
• Whilst our server was polite the skill was lacking
• Even though there are some good ones DON'T TAKE THE RISK WE DID
• Is what you would expect with such prices
• When it came it looked more like a mini cheesecake with cream from a can on the side
• The funnier part was we could not even break into the thing as it was FROZEN SOLID
• Once we complained and said we were in a hurry
• Otherwise she was going to charge us for the others separately which would have been more expensive than £
• It was like they took offence to our complaint and was more concerned about profit
