  • The food here is rather decent and has good enjoyable flavors

  • I felt the prices were also very reasonable for a meal during dinner time

  • I had expected the staff to be a little insolent but they were quite contrary to what I thought

  • My recent experience was a little disappointing

  • I was really craving for their wonton noodles which is my favorite but what i got was too bland and simply tasteless noodles

  • I hope this was my first and last bad experience of Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown)

  • I didn't find anything special with the dishes that they served

  • Most of the dishes have similar tastes and it is very spicy considering the ingredients that are used in the preparation of such dishes

  • The only thing that gives an advantages to Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) is the location it is situated at as well as the reasonable prices that it charges from its customers

  • The food at Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) was just about okay

  • The service was very saddening considering the price we were paying

  • I let my friend choose the food that was supposed to be ordered

  • The dim sums were delicious and very appetizing

  • I was impressed with the food and also met the chef

  • This restaurant is one of the best in area

  • We went ahead with ordering the set menu which is totally worth the price as there is plenty of food

  • The quality and standard of food is good but not great

  • The cleanliness aspect is average and the washrooms are in a terrible state

  • The service is excellent with friendly staff

  • The quality of the food has always been impeccable and the prices are also in a fairly reasonable range

  • I went here with my family and we ordered just enough for the four of us only to realise the servings were so huge that they could have been served to 2 other people as well

  • The service is also very good

  • Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) is the cheapest Chinese joint

  • As an expert in Chinese food she ordered Soya chicken which according to me was not at all tasty

  • First I thought that I do not know about the dish so I kept quite but she said that this dish is not at all good then I went on and told her that how much I hate eating this dish

  • The food is some of the best Asian cuisines I have tried in this city

  • We chose the dishes to order carefully as the menu was elaborate enough to have detailed pictures

  • My partner relished the Chinese dishes even though they were high on MSG

  • The portions offered are quite generous and the prices charged for it are in a reasonable range

  • The service is pretty standard and the food is always delicious

  • Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) is not to be judged by just one meal

  • Its location is not conducive to average standards as the customers have sea of other options

  • The atmosphere here is good and the serving staff satisfactory

  • They both had only average taste and were loaded with a lot of onions

  • The interiors aren't that excellent with the high stairs and small space upstairs

  • I would not be able to comment on the service well enough given that my associate was known here

  • Wonton soup and duck are quite tasty

  • The restaurant is spread over three floors so there is room for all

  • Regular ordinary snacks and dishes are being served

  • The staff was warm and friendly as soon as we entered and we were seated promptly

  • The crispy aromatic duck is something everyone must have

  • I really enjoy lunching here because it is quite inexpensive and delicious

  • The quality of the ingredients were pretty good and it looked fresh too

  • The portion how ever was not that big that I will full my stomach but they are not to be blamed for this

  • The service was pretty good and the waiters were helping too

  • The dim sum was absolutely delicious but the chicken was undercooked and I did not have any of it

  • The rest of the food was pretty average

  • I came here and was pretty much disappointed because the food was not at all authentic and over that thing we had to pay so much for this crap like food

  • The service was just fine and as was the ambience

  • The other food items were not that great which left me a little disappointed

  • The overall experience was just okay and I am not sure whether I would come back here again as there are so many better options in the location

  • Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) is quite different from the usual dim sum eateries and I was pleasantly surprised

  • The ground floor was for kids and infants and the rest of the floors were for those who wanted to have a quiet conversation and a relaxed evening

  • It completely suited us and though the food was not that great but the overall experience was and I would surely love to come back here again

  • I happened to try Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) for it's chinese and it was quite an experience

  • The dim sums are excellent and the other options on the menu are quite good as well

  • I would not tag Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) as reasonable or expensive as there are different price range of different dishes

  • Overall this is a wonderful experience as the quality of food offered here is just awesome

  • Is concentrated with restaurants serving dim sum

  • Situated at the top of Gerrard Street (nearer to Leicester Square Underground) is a relatively new comer

  • In fact the taste in most of them are very similar

  • The chili oil is a very dark grim red

  • The only competitive advantage for Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) is for its location and that the prices are very reasonable in London

  • Baby Octopus Marinated in Thai Chili Sauce with pickled vegetables &ndash

  • It is not a typical dim sum dish but it is my favourite

  • I guess gives the Thai flavour to this dish is very mild and after a few bites

  • Minced meat was quite large and the filling was not enough

  • Wan Chai Corner (Chinatown) normally the first restaurant you see is actually one of the best options

  • The menu is massive and mostly build around Cantonese cuisine with dishes such as Roast duck and sweet &

  • Definitely one of the best in value and very convenient for large groups

  • 6 8 so it is very possible to spend less than £

  • The stir fried rice dishes are generally very solid

  • I loved their lobster with noodle dish

  • The lobster is nicely cooked with ginger and spring onion and the meat came off easily

  • I and my boyfriend agreed that it is as good as the lobster in burger and lobsters

  • We also ordered duck with pancake and soup with 3 types of egg

  • Service was fairly good for a Chinese restaurant (I tend to feel that Chinese places are not the friendliest place and they tend to rush you

  • Their cheung fun are the best part of the dim sum menu

  • All of them are tasty and suit my asian tounge

  • My favorite is their Cheong Fan

  • The price can be considered as cheap compared with the portion

  • The only dimsum on their a la carte menu was pork and spinach

  • Per head (strange rule that many places here impose) we ordered that along with a pork spare ribs chili pepper corn and stir fried Chinese greens with fried rice

  • The dimsum (pan fried) were center cold

  • The ribs were just batter fried with a sprinkling of fried chili pepper corn and some garlic

  • It was basically just fried ribs with no flavour profile whatsoever

  • The fried rice was just some sticky rice with veggies thrown in

  • The attitude of the wait staff was such that didn't even complain about the food

  • So here we were this time at Wan Chai Corner on the other end of Gerard Street

  • Stir fried soft noodles with shredded pork

  • Fried duck slices with green chilli and black bean sauce

  • Stars of the show were ofcourse the duck perfectly cooked and mingled with the black bean sauce and tastes awesome

  • So was the Roast Pork the taste was transported us to heaven or something like that
