Vijay India Restaurant (Queen's Park)

• One of the best things about Vijay's is the extensive choice of curries available
• The bhajis come in a kind of pancake form rather than the common 'balls' you see which was an interesting change it made the bhajis crispier
• Personally I prefer the ball shaped ones but this flat bhaji was good for dipping into the tasty sauces provided
• The samosas were plump with a yummy vegetable filling
• All dishes were cooked very well and were good sized portions
• They do desserts too like a special indian ice cream and banana fritters but we were too full to eat any more
• To top it off the waiters were helpful and the prices are quite good
• We wish the food was a little more authentic
