Trapeze (Shoreditch)

• It was quite noisy with the DJ playing
• Some confusion with the service
• The bar staff seemed pretty blase about making sure people at the bar were actually able to order
• We ordered a bottle of wine and were then left to the whims of the bar staff to keep our glasses topped up
• Some reason we weren't allowed to keep the bottle of wine with us at our table
• Instead they came round and topped us up when they noticed our glasses were nearing empty
• I don't know if this is a normal policy
• Or if it's because we were there for an event (Sounds Familiar
• We'd already eaten at Lazybones so I wasn't hungry when complimentary food of a similar ilk was placed before us
• We duly gave it a try though and it was nice enough (and uninspiringly on trend wings and Korean style pulled pork) but I don't think you'd come here for the food especially
• On top of our wine we had a house cocktail and this was really nice actually vodka and berries
• It was light and fruity and the dusting of cinnamon on the top was pretty clever
• It's main downfall is that there's just no getting away from how expensive it is
• I recently tried Trapeze (Shoreditch) with a couple of friends and had a great time here
• The service was pretty quick and efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly
• The ambience was amazing with a wonderful background music and comfortable seating arrangement
• Is the fact that it is extremely steep
• One feels as though they are paying though their nose for food which does not deserve such a payment
• The cocktail was a pleasure to have but I did not really relish the platter
• To an extent that there was meat on the platter but I had a hard time recognizing which one it really was
• The service is decent enough
• The dishes are well cooked and immensely flavorsome
• If you are a person who is looking for a place to crash on a Friday night then this is the place for you
• The service offered is amazingly efficient
• They serve great cocktails which were delicious and tasty
• The bartender is amazing and very helpful
• The restaurant has a good layout and their choice in music is commendable
• To be fair the place was a bit of disappointment
• We had taken a deal which was sharing a platter between four and a Cocktail
• Trapeze (Shoreditch) is a little tucked at a place where you would not be able to find it easily but is definitely worth a try
• All of us had a gala time here with extremely appetizing food
• Our servers were extremely efficient and attentive
• By far one of the best places around in this city
• Good venue for after work drinks with large booths and other seating areas menu is mainly American food and the bar also has huge cocktail sharers shaped in a rocket
• Such a lovely lady who was so friendly and attentive
• When i arrived the table turned out to be infront of the dj booth on the dance floor that people were using to put their drinks on
• The waiter/manager/whoever he was apologized and offered us a couple of drinks on the house
• No sooner had our drinks arrived than they were immediately cleared away again before we had a chance to drink them
• The whoel time there were 2x empty booths and what appeared to be a whole floor upstairs that we could have been sitting in
• We then tried to go to the club downstairs and were told that we would have to go back outside and queue to get in despite their being an entrance from the inside marked "
• Then refused me entry because my id was not good enough im 33 years old and i look it c at this point we left
• I was on a 1st date and this was literally one of the worst experiences i have ever had I will be going out of my way to tell everyone who will listen NOT to go to trapeze
• So turns up this club is sexist and racist all in one
