Floripa (Shoreditch)

• The only downside to this is that if you are 3/4 of the way through dinner and the music starts then all conversation stops there unless you can bust out your best sign language
• Those of you on a budget there is a deal to be had through taste card I believe it is 50% off
• These guys also know what they are doing when it comes to cocktails anything cachaca based and you wont go too far wrong
• My approach is always to get in just before happy hour ends (7) and get a round of cocktails and a bottle of half price wine that should see you through for a while
• We eat here once every few months and are consistently satisfied with the food
• We tend to order small plates with some skewers and salads
• Maybe in combination with a sharing platter
• We went to Floripa a few weeks back with some friends who had travelled down to London and wanted something 'a bit different'
• The venue itself is fun and vibrant
• The weather was beautiful and people were sitting outside
• The food came in good time and it was pretty tasty but I little bit overpriced
• There's a very small selection of vegetarian food so if you are into that I would suggest not to have many expectations
• Very pleasant food with great live music
• Visited this restaurant on a voucher and received an enormous platter of very tasty meats with some salad and chips very tasty
• When you enter the first things you notice is the interior designs
• I'm still wondering why is there a bike on the wall
• We came at 5 and it was quite empty but they had a lot of reserve tables for the cabaret and burlesque show
• I would recommend the flammable drink which is called the fogo de floripa^^ warning
• What you pay for is what your getting
• Finally when the cabaret show started the room was darken and the I'm pretty sure the majority who enjoy the dances were the ladies xD it's good inspiration for us to learn new moves I guess

• Probably should have opted for something Brazilian in a Brazilian restaurant but the beef burger with potato wedges did not disappoint
• The portion size was very filling and the beef was cooked well done
• The service here is good and the staff are polite and attentive
• The only one thing that I have to say is that the lighting was very dim
• Im sure this was to create the atmosphere that they were going
• Lauren in particular was really helpful we'll be back again
• Cheese tostadas were the perfect snack while the churros were fresh and satisfying
• Bean filling was nearly smushed to a paste
