Thomas's (Mayfair)

• Burberry and afternoon tea are quick to spring to mind
• Alongside offering the very best of seasonal British produce
• Burberry's very own cafe is called Thomas's which can be found within the newly expanded London flagship store at 121 Regent Street
• Half a lobster with chips as my main
• For desserts we shared a plate of fresh fruit mince pies and a custard slice with strawberries (my sister had a naughty selection of sorbets with strawberry sauce)
• The cafe itself was a destination for many Chinese tourists as it seems but many locals are just as intrigued to indulge in the full Burberry luxury experience

• Its ambience is very serene as compared to the chaotic everything outside
• The interior is white washed
• Because they are a vision of marble and brass goals
• I enjoyed a tea at this cafe which is located inside the Burberry store so it is nice to go shopping as well as stopping off for something to eat and drink
• It's a pretty little cafe with beautiful flowers to see and light furniture making the space light and easy going
• I tried the ginger tea which was nice to see on the menu
• It was lovely with fresh pieces of ginger and so would definitely visit again and like to try some of the food selections or other drinks as well
• My father came to visit me in London and while we were trying to escape from Regent Street's crowdedness we found Thomas's Café
• Within Burberry's store was named as the founder Thomas Burberry and that it would make my dad's wallet cry
• Who says the city center is made of tourists' traps
• I must confess we were received with great sympathy and exceptional manners
• If there is something my father appreciates is excellent customer service
• The garden vegetables with smoked aubergine
• We drank Irish cider and we spoiled ourselves with a custard tart
