  • Heddon street kitchen is Gordon Ramsay's newest addition to his ever expanding empire

  • Even though it wasn't busy I was lead to a table that I can only explain as a walkway

  • No view of the restaurant and feeling isolated it was a big disappointment

  • Once my friend had arrived more drinks were ordered and we made a decision on what we wanted to eat

  • The food consists of a modern European menu which is split into cold starters

  • Tamarind spiced chicken wings was my starter option

  • So I had to give my friend one as I felt like I was on a man vs food challenge

  • Scallops sat on a salsify puree with treacle bacon

  • The saddleback pork chop was a massive slab of meat and was perfectly grilled with a good bit of fat attached to it

  • Roasted cod with crushed potatoes

  • Capers and a red wine and lemon sauce looked delicious and was heavenly to eat

  • Chocolate fondant looked very appealing with a river of chocolate bursting out

  • The mint ice cream that accompanied it was refreshing to the palate after a mouthful of sweet bitterness from the chocolate

  • I had the bread and butter pudding which I was really looking forward to

  • We had a couple of different waiting members look after our table and I felt some were professional

  • Even though the food was good and I felt extremely full when leaving

  • M not sure what it was and it&rsquo

  • The first thing about Heddon Street Kitchen is that one should never go in with a half full stomach

  • By far the best thing about HSK is their generous proportions for a modern british eatery that exists between somewhat a canteen and a fine dining establishment (more the former i suspect)

  • It is gorgeously spacious with two floors of well spaced seating

  • I was impressed how spacious it was and the open kitchen at the back of the room

  • Normal dining etiquette are observed with the staff regularly asking if everything alright and being helpful without over pestering

  • We chose the ricotta pie (to share) and our mains were the duck with buttersquash

  • The ricotta was rich and simply outstanding

  • The duck was rendered perfectly with a nice autumn balance of flavours

  • It was mouth watering good which only downside was how full I was

  • One of the best autumn dish I have tired

  • The two sides were really generous in proportions with the gnocchi especially cooked to the t and rounded off with shaved jamon which was outstanding

  • The biggest disappointment was the grill pork

  • The rest of the pork was dry and poorly seasoned (as well as having a distinct lack of shall we say the 'grill' component)

  • HSK is resonably priced with good serving time which is always a bonus

  • (and a few weeks of last minute carb dodging before the big day) meant I neglected to keep up with my always growing list of must visit new restaurants with my usual vigour

  • One of the places that has been on my radar for several months is Heddon Street Kitchen

  • A pedestrianised section of Mayfair which is being dubbed &ldquo

  • The industrial chic vibe is offset with cosy tables and banquette seating

  • The Lady Regent was an elegant and refreshing blend of Hendricks gin

  • Most memorable was the Heddon St Grog &ndash

  • A quirky metal tankard brimming with Bacardi Oakheart

  • The California maki roll with snow crab mix

  • The Fried Rock Oysters with fennel and lemon confit salad (£

  • This rare treat is far better ice cold

  • My top choice was the Tamarind spiced chicken wings (£

  • Another winner was the potted salt beef brisket

  • Salty and meaty flavours of the meat were a brilliant foil to the punchy piccalilli accompaniment

  • Roasted veal carpaccio with dill pickles and tuna dressing (£

  • 12.50) is an interesting combination and while it was pleasant enough

  • Could have done with more &ldquo

  • T go particularly well with the other dishes we sampled

  • The dish I most looked forward to was one of the most disappointing

  • I abandoned the Macaroni cheese with garlic roasted crumbs (£

  • The highlight of the evening was hands down the Chocolat fondant (£

  • Shaved slices of the aromatic fruit were served with a syrup infused with star anise and chilli &ndash

  • S indulgences with something light yet interesting

  • A pleasant evening of food all in all with nothing particularly astonishingly good or bad

  • Heddon Street Kitchen is spot on for catching up with group of friends over cocktails and crowd pleasing bites

  • Suze and I both chose tuna tartare which had a lovely kick of chilli and garlic and was perfect scooped on the accompanying wonton crisp

  • My only previous visit to a Gordon Ramsey Restaurant was Maze many years ago &ndash

  • I remember being somewhat disappointed with the atmosphere and service

  • It is especially dark and the salty caramel ice cream that goes with it is exceptional

  • Last weekend was my birthday

  • I love Heddon st and the restaurant is well decorated and stylish

  • Sadly food is rather over priced and not mind blowing

  • Food is by no means bad but they spank you on the cost front so we are obliged to spank them on rating should the food not live up to the price

  • Going to eat at one of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's restaurants was something I was very excited about

  • The man is a legend and the way he critiques on his show I was expecting somewhat of a taste sensation with every morsel I put into my mouth

  • The dishes are quite expensive for what they are and I feel like there is better value found elsewhere

  • I really enjoyed the Cod but the sides were a lot more exciting for me

  • Service was efficient although the staff were not overly friendly bordering on a bit of arrogance

  • Heddon Street Kitchen is in a great location

  • Recently I won a competition on Twitter with Regent Street for a meal

  • He was more than happy to have a quick chat with us and I can honestly say that he is an incredibly nice man

  • Sadly the starters were limited as 3 of the 6 starters on offer were not available

  • Absolutely wonderful flavors were included in this dish

  • I do think that the picalili was slightly overpowering to pair with the brisket

  • The Yorkshire pudding accompanying it was also great

  • Delicious and rich with velvet like chocolate emerging from the center of this wonderful delicacy

  • The atmosphere was great and the waiters extremely friendly and helpful

  • We went to lunch with voucher timeout where the menu consists of three courses and a cocktail

  • As main courses a trout and an amazing steak with potato pure

  • Dessert a pineapple and passion fruit with sorbet was very good

  • The room is attractive and the restaurant is located in a quiet area of Regent street

  • All the staff is cheerful and efficient

  • Avocado and poached eggs on rye bread toast was burnt and eggs were tough

  • The full English was stingy at best

  • When a friend mentioned there was a two for one brunch special I thought it would be a nice chance to try a new spot

  • Either the acoustics were off or the staff weren't listening lots of repeating throughout

  • The 'special brunch menu' was a spectacularly stingy three items long

  • Stringy bacon the sausage was good though

  • The restaurant was maybe half full

  • So I hope this was an off day

  • Gordon ramsay's heddon street kitchen is the perfect spot for a quick bite to eat or break from the weather

  • It was then i was given the "

  • Yet suddenly my options were narrowed down for me

  • At every other brunch the girls and i have taken with these 2 4 1 vouchers

  • Even more so because as it was before midday and we could elect to eat from the real menu

  • We decided to eat from the regular breakfast menu whilst becoming further annoyed that there were items on it that were priced lower than those on the stupid "

  • The regularly priced food was nothing more than "

  • Mayfair in particular is a favourite of mine because every street is lit up with twinkling lights that wink at you as you go by

  • Heddon Street Kitchen is located just off Regent Street

  • The service is very nice and professional

  • The Wellington was worth the 45 min wait

  • The Beef Wellington is definitely overpriced

  • The floor for some reason was rather greasy

  • A rich Arrabbiata Sauce truly was a burst of flavors in my mouth

  • One of the best places to have fish and chips and the duck platters

  • that wasn't too fussy about dress code as we were meeting after work

  • I must admit I was curious as to what to expect in one of his own kitchens

  • I'm not a fan of his onscreen personality (except his series when he was travelling across Asia)

  • We ordered mostly seafood as my companions were pescatarians

  • So I wasn't too thrilled with the asparagus and haddock

  • Cod and halibut were ordered for mains

  • (I'm used to a lot of salad leaves with my carpaccio) But very delicious

  • The triple cooked fries were nice and crispy

  • Since we were busy talking we forgot to even ask for some ketchup to eat them with and they turned cold and got left on the table

  • The desert we had the apple crumble with vanilla ice cream

  • Was also great thou I expected more creative and original deserts besides the obvious that are included on the menu

  • Chips is your thing Heddon Street Kitchen (Mayfair) has to be your temple/church/mecca they have the best of it and it will blow your minds the moment you taste it

  • The food was not bad but I was extremely disappointed with the service I received especially since this is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant

  • We had 4 different waiters and they seemed like they did not communicate with each other

  • S a nice place to hangout with friends and to try the famous dish by Gordon Ramsay

  • Beef wellington which is a little bit expensive compared to the rest of dishes available in the restaurant
