Tap Coffee (Soho)

• The only down side its very busy and can be a mission to get a table but if you are willing to wait its well worth it
• Busy and vibrant with an eclectic mix of locals
• Ordering is simple and the coffee is sensibly made and dispatched from a different location which speeds things up no end
• Good for a quick cuppa if you are on the way somewhere else
• Also nice to spend time in if you are not in such a hurry
• Whether it is wine tasting
• Cor filled with wooden tables/benches and low hanging metal lights
• Just off the boil is added to to each glass
• The remaining top grounds are skimmed off
• Roasting coffee beans is another technical lesson for another day for another blog post
• The filtered coffee came served in a small metal jug with a white cup
• Salad and the usual baked goods are also served here
• The coffee cupping is a free event and can be signed up online
• This is a rustic space with skylights running along most of the long length of the ceilings
• Doesn't have the biggest selection of food for breakfast but that's not an issue as the focus of Tap Coffee (Soho) is really proven in the great coffee it serves up
• Most of pastries and sandwiches were gone but we still managed to order a chicken sandwich and flat whites
• I have noticed that there are a lot of branches of TAP coffee around London but it's my first time trying it
• Tap Coffee (Soho) is meant for the coffee lover
• I must say that this was one of the best coffees I have ever tried
• The interiors are rustic with modernist drop lights on each table simple yet beautiful
• The only negative about the place is that it can't hold large groups of more than 4
• I was so impressed with the decoration and the overall look of the cafe
• The staff are very friendly and advise well I was recommended a latte with oatmeal milk
• You are given a small glass bottle with two cards in it (so cute
• ) and each table has a tin of Lyle's black treacle filled with brown sugar and a strawberry/orange compote
• The desserts is just awful
• He asked what was the worst experience that had happened to me in recent memory
• Personally I have had so much to choose from that the problem was not trying to remember one but instead trying to pick from the multitude
• It could have been that incident when I was accused of putting a fly in my soup
• Here I have to be thankful that memory fades and what was once unbearable pain will fade into less pointed recollections
