Pie Republic (Forest Gate)

• Indian or Turkish and was driving around and spotted a new looking pie restaurant with the magic Halal sign in the window
• The customer service is appalling and lack of acknowledgement from staff is shocking
• As we had children with us we went downstairs the table downstairs was dirty and I asked to be seated on another table they refused as it was a lame get table for 6 people and there was 5 of us
• Asked for all the food to come out together with the starters
• After half an hour they come down with the drinks
• I was by then fed up with the service and decided to never go back there again and eat what I was given
• Cox bazar pie tasted like curry in a pie with no flavour
• Bangers and mash burnt sausages and instant mash and the kids was able taste the awfulness and did not have it
• I tried the Royal Victoria pie which is chicken &
• The mash tasted from an instant mix and the roast veg was mainly peppers with a couple of slivers of onion &
• The dish was also served with a small pot of gravy which was definitely needed to bring it all together
• Limited on street parking for a short period is available during the day
• Went there to have my first english breakfast it was nice but the egg was little burnt
• Service was too slow but the taste wasnt that bad specially the sausages they were really nice
• When we reminded the manager that we are also customers he stormed back into the kitchen
• The term 'unprofessional' wouldn't do justice to just how badly the manager dealt with the situation
• The best way I can think of to describe the manager's behaviour is like a street thug
