The Table Cafe (Southwark)

• Ordered all English breakfast companied with the English breakfast tea
• The thought of coming up to London and doing my work commute on a Saturday was just all wrong
• The other option is to get up early on a weekday and come in before work
• The place was heaving with a different crowd to what we usually see &ndash
• As I mentioned I was hungry and was pleased to see a very generous portion delivered by the waitress
• The sausages were really big
• So you might think this is the perfect fry up and will get the perfect score
• The item on the menu I was looking forward to the most was the ham hock &
• In reality it was just a bit bland
• The Borough full English is certainly at the top of the fry up price range and whilst you do get a lot for your money
• The menu in general is quite expensive
• This morning I met up with the boyfriend who booked a table last night via the internet
• The place is located in South Bank and it is often quite busy
• Everything was very delicious and juicy and I would suggest the place if you are craving the taste of some British Cuisine
• Because it feels cozy and it is not pricey
• The table cafe is usually quite busy and we had to call up to book a table
• The lady we spoke to was quite helpful and also explained the easiest way to get to the cafe
• I ordered a stack which is served only in weekends a combination of eggs
• List as it is worth the visit
• The floor plan is very open and luxurious which helped add to the experience
• Go for the stack the chorizo beans are a bit special
• Visiting on a Saturday with David Miller
• The Bloody Marys were a perfect hangover cure
• Then a scout through the menu with choices like eggs benedict
• For me that is just half the story
• Always making sure every customer is 100% satisfied before they leave
• That for me is hospitality
• The servers were incredibly welcoming and very attentive
• They all had smiles for their diners which is always nice
• The sweet and smokey flavours were cut through by the heat from the gherkins
• You will be always welcomed with a very pleasant smile
• Located on the main road opposite the Tate Modern is The Table Café
• The only downside is that Borough market is 3 mins away
• My pulled pork burger was slightly over salted
• The bottom bun was soaked completely with the sauce
• Making it harder to eat with the juices a bit over empowering and messy to eat
• The strawberry milkshake was a big hit none of the fake flavoring in other burger chains
• My only concern was that it was a bit small for the price
• The portions are a good size and the waiters are friendly
• Okay so anywhere that has al fresco seating available on a sunny day is already going to get a three star head start
• I had a dreaded appointment with the dentist the following day so I was going to at least pretend to be disciplined and forego the sweet treats
• The pancakes on the table next to me were enough to make me consider dentures
• When our savoury dishes arrived though I was actually quite smug about this decision
• Aside two fluffy sweetcorn fritters which were almost billowy like Yorkshire puddings
• My friend ordered the veggie breakfast with halloumi (an improvement to any dish really)
• Her appetite was pretty measly after a pretty traumatic week
• I didn't have the guts to scrounge her leftovers before the (loveliest) waiters took our plates away which was no ay a hurried affair at all
• Was really impressed with the way that it was presented
• S brunch menu is it is so much more expansive than the standard avocado
• Chose the chicken burger which was nice but the breast was a bit dry
• The accompanying sweet potatoes were good though
• I ordered the chargrilled chicken with avocado and sour cream burger and a cappuccino
• The burger brioche bun was just perfect
• I highly recommend trying the Buttermilk pancakes with crispy bacon
• Caramelised banana and maple syrup The pancakes are massive and so damn good
• Their brunches were legendary and we used to come here often
• Chef changed and last time we were here it was incredibly disappointing with bland
• I had waffle with crispy bacon
• The staff is attentive as well which is always nice
• I definitely liked the Eggs Royale with the smoked salmon
• The English Breakfast is hard to do wrong
• Word is weekend brunch is the preferred time to visit Table
• I was pleased with my Friday evening dinner
• 14) served with properly crispy chips
• The Table has been around for a while but their food menu has been enhanced with a creative and comprehensive cocktail list
• Every bite was so delicious
• I love that everything is freshly prepared and all sauces made from scratch
• The spinach was almost raw and my poached eggs were boiled right through
• The salmon was folded as if it just came out of a packet
• The service was fast and the waiter was nice but the food was gross and overpriced for its poor quality
• The dishes are always very hearty and filling
• We were out on a Monday night so we rather expected any restaurant to be quiet however we were a group and we would make our own atmosphere so no matter for us
• NEARLY forgot This is a PET FRIENDLY RESTAURANT
• The best we were offered was a table on the outdoors tent at the back of the restaurant
• It was too cold and humid and we ended up asking to wait for a table inside whilst we were expecting for the food
• Proving that the service is rather slow
