The Refinery (Southwark)

• Restaurant is an amazing place to sit and dine or have some drinks
• Refinery touches a mark of sophistication with its very immaculately chosen menu and global wine list
• The Refinery (Southwark) can be booked for private parties and is famous for its saturday evenings
• All in all a great place with excellent service
• The Refinery is part of the Drake and Morgan bar group
• All have a subtle twist with their interior design and styling
• They have their own definite identity but are also very familiar&hellip
• Flavourful was a little tough and sinewy
• It feels as though they are trying to join the crowning trend for reasonable value high calibre food been knocked out in large volume
• I think if I were to visit The Refinery (Southwark) again it would probably be for drinks only as it is a great bar
• If a little slow (took a while for plates to be removed) which could be forgiven but the restaurant was fairly quiet
• The venue is huge and spacious and it is situated within the Southwark area
• Mint and fig crostini which was an amazing starter and I had to go for another one
• We were so pleased with the food that we decided out left overs had to be taken away as well
• The burger was juicy and not overdone

• I may have gone overboard and ordered mac and cheese on the side (oink) with crispy bacon and leeks

• I shared it with my dad because the chips were a bit rubbish
• My dad and I always share desserts and Wagon Wheels are his childhood favourite
• It was just a crappy biscuit with the texture of a trifle finger (before you put it in the trifle
• One thing to note was that the staff were very impersonal
• Or perhaps the staff are more concerned with the colour of their new shoes than they are about listening to their customers
• The garlic butter I asked for on the side (at an extra cost) was absolutely divine

• The Refinery is actually the restaurant I have been to the most in London
• This restaurant is usually packed every day of the week
• Pepper squid with lemon mayonnaise and the Roman fries to share
• Arnaise sauce that was absolutely to die
• I had cheeseburger which was good and the fries I had ordered was excellent
