  • Round and black building with a red umbrella structure on the top and a cinema sign displaying different slogans on different days is probably something of an iconic structure of the East End now

  • The interiors are very Shoreditch ish with large windows

  • The barista and server seemed a little confused the evening I was there and a few smiles shouldn't hurt them

  • The place definitely sees a good number of people pass through its doors which could explain why they ran out of everything to eat (including the baked goods which are supposed to be all day) by 4

  • They had just one slice of the red velvet cake remaining so I ended up with that and a hot chocolate

  • Sweet and airy with a slightly thick icing

  • The hot chocolate was also one of the better one's I've had and they even created latte art on it

  • Not something I usually see happening with hot chocolate

  • The coffee beans they use are their own blend and made to their specifications and has quite a fan following in the area

  • Is this one of those independent coffee shops that is here to make its mark

  • The location is marvellous and it must be convenience alone which attracts the clientele (it was full to the rafters on my visit)

  • S Espresso Martini we were told was perfect

  • Maybe better luck next time with our choices

  • A really cool chilled out space right next to old street station and you would be crazy to choose the Starbucks next door as the coffee is 5 times better

  • Decided to (continue to) celebrate my birthday weekend with some cocktails at the Shoreditch Grind coffee bar by day

  • The bar itself is inside in a big

  • Jam packed with local imbibers

  • ) While both cocktails were a tad heavy on the sweet syrup

  • My main complaint is the unexpectedly slow service

  • No matter they were delicious and the night was still young

  • Their sandwich selection was pretty meagre

  • So I opted for a croissant and a cup of tea that were both very enjoyable

  • Shoreditch grind spotted this gap in the market and provided the soldiers of the tech revolution with a place to relax

  • The coffee is of a high standard and even the baristas among you will be satisfied

  • The cocktails are fairly good here too

  • The interior is really different and inventive with its rounded walls

  • We sat outside and had a few drinks as there was no tables inside on a busy Friday night

  • Outside they have great picnic tables perfect if there is more than a couple of you

  • This cafe seems like an ideal place for an intimate conversation and also acts as a good place to have a saturday morning coffee with a few friends

  • The variety of hand made sandwiches and baguettes are tasty and healthy as well

  • In Shoreditch are the peeps from Shoreditch Grind

  • This is a quaint space with extra seating downstairs

  • Trendy littke coffee shop with some morning pastries available

  • Needed a place to chill before work and this was the spot for 10mins till it started getting really busy

  • Return to their home country to become frustrated with the local coffee scene

  • Shoreditch Grind is not so different

  • Full bodied with a bitter finish

  • Upstairs from the espresso bar by day is a recording studio

  • This small and cute place is perfect for a quick stop right next to Old Street station whether you need to chat with your bff or just read a chapter in a book

  • Coffee and also cocktails with variety of alcohol choices under one roof

  • Sipping tea and chuffing myself with Avocado and Salmon

  • The food quality is high and the vibe makes you plan the next visit even before leaving

  • Buzzing post work and just enough space to squeeze in with a laptop whilst waiting for a friend

  • Very energetic place with the right kind of music The IPAs that they served were one of the better ones that I have had for a very long time

  • As good as one which is close to London Bridge and had great coffee / espresso Martini and overall amazing vibes

  • Shoreditch Grind is one of my favourite go to coffee shops

  • There is both indoor and outdoor seating and unless it's freezing outside the outdoor seating is perfect for a warm cuppa and conversations

  • The music is good and the service is friendly which is what you'd want in a coffee shop

  • The place entices you with neon signs and logos such as &ldquo

  • Let's just say London is most definitely not short on brunch options

  • You can also get it with poached eggs
