• Loves Company is a funny little bar&hellip
• Soon enough a rather boisterous (too boisterous) came long and transformed the place from what I would have said was a classy drinking den to something approaching a Wetherspoons
• Sounded like it was getting ready to be a pretty jumpin&rsquo
• Downstairs is a much larger space
• Serious bartending is backing up the playful menu
• G and Ham'mer Time are the worst / best depending on your love of puns
• I ordered a mojito which was refreshing with a good alcoholic kick no complaints
• No varieties and no idea what red you were getting which I thought was actually pretty cool
• Why bother with options when you can just get what you're given
• Loves Company is a bar you really can't afford to miss
• You'd be an idiot to resist a blossoming kiss with purple passion potion and hold your horses
• The dons of the den whisk up their love potions with the care and attention required of any aspiring cupid and the results are spectacular
• Get involved with the nostalgia and comfort of tucking into melted
• Puns are great and they are in abundance here at Loves Company
• A hot buttered rum and apple creation was of the melt in the mouth and don't ever end variety
• As is the way with so many of my favourite drinks
• All beach shack rum punchy with a citrus twist
• Sartorial and dreadlockary excellence of the chaps at this establishment is reason to head straight to the bar and pull up a chair
• Loves Company is a great place to meet after work as it offers an amazing range of creative cocktails and also serves toasties for evening cravings
• One of the things I personally like about it is the fact that they serve toasties until midnight
• Maybe a little too sweet for my taste (maybe that's why they've replaced the sweet onion sauce with guacamole now
• The ground floor is quite small
• A bar that combines cocktail with cheese toasties
• Stepping into ...Loves Company (Shoreditch) for the first time is like stepping into somewhere familiar
• We went on a Wednesday night and were welcomed in by a cardboard cut out of the absent manager Russell giving us a big thumbs up
• We were given menus with a short array of cocktails to choose from but Ella
• Matt and Tim being old timers went off piste with off menu orders
• I was asked what I liked (Old Fashioneds) and mezcal Old Fashioned with chocolate bitters materialised
• A smoky take on a classic with a bit of bite and simultaneous sweetness
• Apparently ...Loves Company (Shoreditch) is heaving upstairs and downstairs at weekends and yet the barmen still find the time to know your name
• Loves Company is a place where you can find both cocktails and cheese toasties
• Ambiance is OK and the prices are affordable
