When we arrived I noticed it was full of Chinese people chatting in Mandarin
The hot pot is on a special paper menu where you can tick off with a pencil the type of broth base and any extras you want to cook in the simmering bouillon

One member of our table requested another regional specialty of green beans dry fried with minced pork and dried chillis
