  • Very high quality staff that are constantly rushing around to serve everyone

  • The interior is very grand with lots of marble

  • Between 3 of us we ordered 6 or 7 dishes and a beer each with the final bill coming to £

  • They are only small but it is nice trying a number of dishes

  • My favourite was the carpaccio

  • The meatballs were the only dish I probably wouldn't recommend

  • The restaurant is extremely beautiful and done up very well

  • The dishes were very well plated and the food was amazing the pasta was nice and meaty

  • On the other hand the pizza was thin and was nice and crispy

  • In the end i noticed that our bill was also not too much i expected it to be atleast 80 100 pounds it was actually only 67 pounds with food and drinks

  • The restaurant was done up very well and it was packed

  • The only one thing was that the tables could have been a bit larger

  • Many others but my favourite was cicchetti it is the place to be with friends and family

  • The bill was about 140 pounds which was very reasonable because we ordered like 10 dishes and drinks

  • Ciccetti is the italian version of small plates and this glamorous little spot on Picadilly in the heart of tourist land is definitely not just for the tourists

  • We have a large group so we order a little bit of a lot The duck breast is served cold but succulent and beautifully cooked

  • Croquettes are hot and fluffy

  • The zucchini frites are so incredibly moreish we actually have to order more and every other dish is as delicious as the last

  • The one that stands out the most for me is the Spaghetti Carbonara

  • Not something I usually order but this is beaten fresh in front of us with cream and egg yolk and lashed with fresh black pepper

  • It's pricey but that's perhaps to be expected given the location but this is no tourist trap

  • This is an excellent place to enjoy great Italian food made with high quality authentic ingredients

  • San Carlo Cicchetti (Mayfair) is perfect if you want to try different starters and meals to share with your friends

  • The Buratta with prosciutto ham and truffle (you might find yourself ordering more than one)

  • The gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese served in a parmesan bowl (yes you can eat it

  • The Carbonara pasta is also to die

  • One order of this one is good enough + a starter to share

  • The atmosphere is very lively

  • I checked all the places around and this was the closest one and reviews were good

  • This is one of those places which treats their guests with such amazing hospitality that you cannot stop drooling over them

  • The servers were very attentive to even the most little needs that we had

  • I loved the tiramisu dessert that I ordered though the cheese board was a disappointment

  • The Pasta we ordered was quite delicious and refreshing

  • The staff here was quite rude and unpleasant

  • Though the service was quite quick and efficient

  • Maybe its for the great location and opulent service that they are charging this much

  • San Carlo Cicchetti (Mayfair) is such a delight

  • San Carlo Cicchetti (Mayfair) was recommended to us by our host and we were glad that we did visit San Carlo Cicchetti (Mayfair)

  • The servers are quick and efficient

  • We ordered a pasta and gnocchi with two glasses of wine and loved our food

  • The location of San Carlo Cicchetti (Mayfair) is just appropriate

  • The place is always bustling with people and the Italian tapas that are served are worth trying

  • The servings are good and the menu has a lot of variety

  • The gorgonzola gnocchi was a treat for us

  • Drinks that are offered are amazing and it is all very pocket friendly

  • I was happy to find San Carlo Cicchetti (Mayfair) which was not just pocket friendly but also offered great food

  • The only drawback is that the tables are small and it is difficult to strike a conversation with your friends

  • The waiters are helpful and friendly and can't do enough for you

  • The menu changes with the seasons and is quite long (over 80 dishes)

  • Every meal is freshly prepared and cooked

  • The food is really good and the bar is even better

  • Actually it was reasonable

  • We ordered both of them to share around the table and they were just insane

  • The restaurant is simply beautiful

  • Had breakfast here and it was just insert drooling emoji

  • The rack of lamb is out of this world

  • SCC is located right on the corner of Piccadilly circus and it took us quite some time to find it as THAT corner is called mayfair

  • We entered to find the restaurant buzzing with lots of customers and groups of friends

  • The server then gave us quite a surprise when he explained that this was actually a kind of 'Italian Tapas'

  • It can be very tough to appreciate authentic Italian pizzas when all your life dominoes and the likes have changed the meaning of what a pizza is supposed to taste like

  • Pollo was one such pizza where we thought something was missing in the flavors

  • We found this gem at zomato with a rating of 4.8

  • Italian and we were with the kids and for the first time we ordered no pizza

  • We started with burrata and bruschetta amazing

  • Then we ordered the ravioli with white truffle sauce and penne pasta with the same sauce excellent

  • The things that were sampled from the menu were the meat platter

  • I do believe that it was a small sample from a very large menu and I could have had a different opinion on another selection of their dishes

  • The rack of lamb in the meat platter was exquisite but the steak disappointed as it was overly cooked and chewy

  • The N'duja Piadina bread I had was fairly good but thats as far as I'll go

  • Really stops you from the wholehearted indulgence that Italian food is synonymous with (unless you're willing to drop a large wad of cash

  • The wine selection was excellent and really boasted of a geographic range of Italian wines rarely seen in other restaurants

  • Bruschetta with wild mushrooms &

  • This is the best Italian restaurant I'd been in London so far (been living here for 5 years now)

  • On a rainy day when we were walking around piccadilly

  • The manager and waiters were really welcoming

  • You can go there with your sneakers on but the atmosphere you will come across is such luxury restaurant and perhaps even better service

  • My husband and I spotted the restaurant while walking along mayfair and it was as stunning on the inside as it was on the outside

  • The restaurant was elegant yet festive (fine dining quality)

  • It was completely full with waiters flying between tables serving as quickly as they could

  • All 3 dishes were piping hot when served and absolutely delicious

  • The pizza was thin and crispy and the chicken wrapped in bacon was deliciously unique

  • Dessert we ordered the panna cotta with raspberry sauce and a special request of chocolate sauce on this side for my husband

  • The panna cotta was the highlight of our meal by far the best panna cotta I have ever eaten

  • The ravioli with spinach was nothing special

  • Would repeat and try other things just to make sure my choice of dishes was not the best

  • Decent food but NOWHERE the best rating in London

  • Arriving late is never a great start

  • Your date for the evening is contemplating leaving

  • So you make her new reliable friends on the next table because you are so tightly squashed together that wagamama benches seem romantic

  • Unfortunately your neighbours date is equally fraught and results in three of us in a councilling session as one person hides in the bathroom

  • Considering this is tapas and italian

  • Over sharing is the order of the day

  • The pasta dishes were hearty and filled us up

  • Plus there was a little claw served with the crab salad which was the only thing we could not share that evening unlike the drama

  • I've enjoyed the ambiance and the service which was quite efficient

  • ORIGINAL AUG 10th I didn't know cicchetti are the Italian version of tapas but it was absolutely perfect as we were in the mood for something Italian but not overly hungry

  • There was an amazing buzz about the restaurant and we just felt excited about eating what was promising to be some authentic Italian cooking

  • Next us sat a charming couple visiting from Italy who looked like they came straight off the set of 'La Grande Bellezza' who struck up conversation with us within five minutes of sitting

  • Italians raving about Italian cooking was justification we were in the right place

  • In addition we ordered black ravioli filled with crab and a tuna tartare prepared at the table

  • Some serious home runs with the Gnocchi Carbonara

  • They only got a look in during those quite times when I was wondering why I had walked past San Carlo Cicchetti (Mayfair) a hundred times plus but has written it off fir some unknown reason

  • The service and food are impeccable

  • All the staff are always so friendly and welcoming

  • San Carlo Cicchetti was no different

  • Everything tasted great and I fell in love with the Lobster Ravioli

  • The scallops were particularly delicious as well

  • Thought probably end up with an emptier wallet too

  • At Picadilly circus this lovely Italian restaurent is quite popular

  • Tiramisu because it is known to serve an amazing tiramisu

  • Good restaurant with a great atmosphere

  • The size of the courses is relatively small for my taste

  • They want you that this is supposed to be a sharing restaurant

  • All in all it was a good experience

  • 5/5 (however the food was small portions)

  • A hectic place with friendly efficient staff

  • A couple of snack pizzas were blistering hot

  • Large ravioli stuffed with ricotta and slathered in fragrant black truffle was a massive hit

  • No wonder it was crowded even at 6.30pm

  • The veal milanese I ordered was perfect and hammered thin

  • The service is excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and had a great sense of humour

  • Best food for the best prices in London

  • San Carlos Cichetti is a lovely italian outlet near Piccadilly
