Royal Nawaab (Greenford)

• I was lucky enough to have visited Manchester in the 90's when Wilmslow Road was actually something to boast about
• 15 odd years is a long time and a lot can and does change in that time
• Take the place out of it's comfort zone and place it in the different context that is London and you see exactly how it ranks
• The choice (Nawaab is a buffet) limited
• Not that that has anything to do with Nawab itself no for that
• I simply leave you with a recommendation to skip
• A lively venue with decent food
• Royal Nawaab (Greenford) has somewhat of a reputation so going in with high expectations I was a little let down
• 20 per head cost for the buffet is a little steep
• Where families are more than welcome to sit comfortably
• The service is impeccable and the quality of the good is excellent with a wide variety of buffet dishes to choose from
• We called in to book a table and was told that we'd get a table on the second floor (the ground floor was fully booked) where they'd serve iftar but for dinner
• The inside resembles a mini hotel with plush interiors
• Soft drink and lemonade were complimentary (and unlimited)
• I added bits of all and they were really good
• This may seem too much but there were a lot many dishes they had
• The vegetable noodles were quite bland
• The chicken wings and drumsticks were really good
• Butter Chicken was extremely bad it looked and tasted nothing like one
• Chicken Masala Karahi was quite okay
• The nihari was extremely good
• They had lamb chops and roast chicken at other live stations but that too were taking some time
• The chocolate mousse wasn't the best I'd had but it was pretty decent
• The sponge of the chocolate cake was quite dry but the filling was nice
• The waitstaff were very attentive
• The upstairs hall was a better place to have iftar at than the downstairs (it was so crowded and suffocating)
• The lemonade hardly had the taste of lemon this is because they had added just a pinch of lemon powder to soda
• What I couldn't understand is why they continue to take more table bookings
• They have a very extensive menu with a lot of variety in every section but our personal favorite is Lamb mirchi which is so amazing
• The thing that attracts me in any Indian menu is their biryani so I ordered chicken biryani here and my husband ordered lamb chops
• Course there are alternative routes to get there too
• The buffet plus a soft drink is approximately £
• There is no way you can try all the items there are just too many
• Personal favourites are the starters &
• There serve some items on the back counters which are a must try
• There's such a wide selection from starts to main course to sauces to dips and salads (I mean I was feeling full after the starter) but I'm defiantly going back to try everything else
• By the time we left the que was out to the door
• Royal Nawaab (Greenford) has regular customers but the most recommend is the Manchester branch
• The food options are amazing and each dish is well cooked
• If you can deal with rude staff
• Then you'll love it here otherwise there are other options
• Royal Nawab restaurant is one of the awful and disgusting restaurant in london
• The food was too greasy and the staff were disrespectful
• Going to this restaurant is just wasting your money
• Shahi tukda is the best among the deserts
• By far one of the best places for eatery for asian food
• The wrong curry they gave me even looked like the curry they were supposed to give me
• Perhaps the best South Asian buffet in town primarily owing to it&rsquo
• The kababs can be a bit dry and the staff hospitality is not at par
• I would like the main course with more spice and flavours also the lasagne and pasta didnt meet my expectation
• Haleem and nihari was quiet nice
• Can surely say this is the restaurant where you get value for money and mouth watering food spread for Buffet
• Ambience and service is truly royal
• Royal Nawaab (Greenford) is a must visit if you are in London
• First time I went with family I was left feeling very very disappointed
• I vowed never to return especially since the food was average at best
• Friends had got together and the experience was only marginally better
• The options are very good with many options in lamb and chicken
• My personal favourites are the Haleem and Nihari
• Go for it if you are food lover
• I am compelled to write this review to share my absolute disgust with the way in which Nawaabs managed one of the most important days of my life
• I was greeted so well and they installed confidence in me that I was making the right choice
• When the party was in full swing wewe ask the floor manager to provide us with hot water
• In the end our guest were not provided with any hot water
• Even are supposed security guard came in the the venue as I was saying bye to my guests and right infront of me helped himself to our tea and coffee
• The requests were ignored and we went home with a full wedding cake
• The money that alot of people break there backs to save to try to put on the best even for there family and friends
• Didn't want to even acknowledge there lack of care and provided an apology that was not sincere and completely false
• I now feel it is my duty to warn anyone thinking about booking this event
• Go elsewhere there are plenty of venues out there that are much better
• Specially how the situation was handled yesterday evening
• Some customers really need to be banned for getting aggressive with the staff and other customers
• Specially the couple today who were very rude and racist towards one of the managers and called them the P word and then had the audacity to say they were not going to pay
• I think it was very professionally handled by the staff
