Rivington Grill (Shoreditch)

• DEFINATELY a must if you are in shoreditch
• To those who descend on Hoxton Square with beer thirst and a desire for hard and fast fun
• Like a little vermouth with their vodka and a little garnish with their meat
• Then Rivington Grill is the classy spot for you
• Modern brasserie with white table clothes
• The much applauded Rivington burger is worth risking date decorum
• Kicking off the day with their Negroni
• Share a honeycomb ice cream with toffee sauce for dessert
• Two married couples in their late thirties who are the best of friends and love a good old double date in their local
• Rivington Grill is set up in an old industrial unit
• Could be sitting in the corner with his waxed moustache
• Starters came out first (this is a rare pushing out of the boat for this burger blogger)
• Included lamb scrumpets (whatever they are we felt we needed them in our lives who can resist a good scrumpet)
• The burger was served lid on
• It would be this one rather it was a homely group of happily complementary items resting together in perfect harmony
• There is something about the rich creaminess of the yolk that totally clashes with almost every other element of the ensemble
• This is strange as toasted bap with bacon and egg is one of my favourite breakfasts
• Sadly my pictures don't do this burger justice as it was getting dark
• You can see the meat was crumbly and pink
• This style is unfloured bap
• There are only two things I would change with the whole ensemble I wouldn't have the egg next time
• Avocado and spinach paired with freshly squeezed orange juice
