26 pounds 3 course with a glass of bubbly
-
Wine menu was quite extensive and price was on the higher side
-
Few couples with no reservations were turned back from the reception itself
-
Agreed what menus my party could eat from only to be told by the manger that he changed it due to reasons that were in direct contradiction to what I had been told while arranging
-
He condescendingly asked to see proof of the email that he obviously thought I was lying about and when I produced the email he still continued to dispute it for a while before he gave in
-
The set menu was awful &
-
Mains came and the lobster was like chewing gum
-
The dishes were inconsistent so the two who ordered duck had completely different dishes
-
Chip meal came saturated in oil and a few of the dishes came with cold vegetables
-
The service was terribly awful
-
Shown to our table and served with a lovely glass of bubbles
-
The waitress was helpful and very capable as she prepared and poured our wine
-
The portions were tiny and the food was nice but not what I would have expected from somewhere of this level
-
I would try it again on the hope that the night was just a "
-
The dining rooms tend to be soulless walls which are either too minimalistic
-
Then someone at the company with some sense decided it was time for a flashy new makeover
-
Staff attire is probably the strangest part of it all
-
Happened to know a thing or two about mixing drinks were on hand to help start off our evening
-
A walk down the restored famed Quaglino's grand staircase to our table and quickly arrived was some bread arrived
-
Chorizo and artichoke barigoule was only £
-
It wasn't huge but was well sized
-
In fact when you could taste it against the artichoke flavour it was a little odd
-
The seared yellow fin tuna with lotus crisp
-
Apart from making the dish look pretty the lotus crisp was pointless and tasteless
-
I'm writing this with an EAT Thai pot in one hand and a brownie in the other
-
Both utterly disgusting and all I want to eat now is some seared tuna
-
It may not look much either but I can assure you it was utterly delicious
-
Yet refined and that parsnip puree was like eating liquid gold
-
Paired with a side of outstanding gratin dauphinois it was a lovely dish which shouldn't be missed if you visit Quaglino's
-
Melted in the mouth and the passion fruit flavour was as intense and concentrated as I hoped
-
Me catalane which was a little disappointing
-
Another cocktail down the hatch and a glass of white wine chaser and we were on our way out the doors
-
Live music on some nights can be slightly odd and there were other dishes (which I didn't photo) which weren't quite up to scratch
-
A great meal if you pick carefully or a bad meal if you have the worst tastes If you're thinking vegetarians (you were thinking it) then maybe so
-
This really is a place for meat and seafood lovers so veggies beware
-
Great venue after the refurb it really is looking amazing
-
Both really nice although the steak can on its own with just a tomato to garnish at £
-
The atmosphere of the place was also really good
-
I love coming to Quaglino's (Mayfair) the atmosphere the service is fantastic that menu choices are fantastic and everything is very well cooked and beautifully presented
-
Quaglino's is a London institution
-
It seemed fitting seeing as the restaurant is older than she is
-
Brunch is a real indulgence and a true showstopper by definition and when you go to one of London's best restaurants
-
Q brunch at Quaglino's is now firmly atop my list of London's best brunches
-
Brunch at Quaglino's is an epic affair
-
The options are for either two courses or three courses
-
We chose to order a starter to share and a main and a pudding each and safe to say we were ridiculously full
-
The service was attentive without being pushy and we never had to ask for a top up
-
Our glasses were always refilled without us noticing
-
The current trend for bottomless brunches is really something I can get on board with&hellip
-
All you can drink bubbles for the duration of your meal all for a very reasonable price is a genius idea
-
I wouldn't recommend getting the cocktails but champagne and sea bass is the ticket
-
It's fair to say that the last time I was invited to one of these all in one entertainment/restaurant/bar venues
-
The beautiful interior and the live music performed from the stage makes this a great place to grab a drink with some friends on a weekend
-
My reason for returning here is not for food but simply for some drinks and entertainment
-
Is tempting us with the best tantalising Thursday offering I&rsquo
-
Savour the flavours of a four course Royal Wedding menu and toast the happy couple with a Kir Royale from now until Friday 18th May
-
Quaglino's is located in the busy street called bury street
-
Prices are reasonable and commensurate with the quantity and quality of the dishes served
