Rawduck (Hackney)

• We were uninspired by anything on Broadway Market and remembered there are some new restaurants next to the super trendy Arthaus development not far away so thought we'd take our chances
• I find out later that Raw Duck is the sister restaurant to Ducksoup in Soho
• The plates are small and meant for sharing so we opted for the following
• Winner for me above was definitely the hot smoked trout
• I came here with a large group of 20 people so we're were given the reduced brunch menu
• The menu is interesting with lots of quirky and different options you wouldn't stumble across in your regular cafe
• The atmosphere is 'Hackney cool' with a great interior and loads of space
• The good was fab but the one thing letting it down was the veeerrryyyyy slow service
• Redeemingly they are look for staff so hopefully when they have a few more bodies on board they'll be able to fix this and bump up the overall experience
• I was highly impressed by the dinner service which was so pleasing
• The quality of food is impeccable here and so is the variety of wine they have
• The food was really good and the service was also up to the mark
• My experience was quite good both in terms of food as well as the service
• Rawduck (Hackney) is good but I did find some flaws
• The waiters were not at all friendly and same goes for the management
• Rawduck (Hackney) is over priced too
• The only thing which is keeping them in business is their ambience which is very good
• I have been going to Rawduck (Hackney) regularly as it is the only convenient option from my place and never once have I been surprised or pleased
• The coffee is terrible but I have to do away with it
• The food is a hit and miss scenario because sometimes it is quite delicious but other times the quality can be really bad
• The service is pretty quick but that does not make the experience any better
• It is also overpriced and the price of the dishes is not worth the quantity and quality of food they serve
• The staff as well as the manager is inhospitable and unfriendly
• The drink served here was bitter to the core and almost undrinkable
• The quality of food was much better
• The overall experience was pulled down by a great extent just thanks to the horrendous coffee
• That Rawduck (Hackney) is you best bet for a casual meal on a relaxed with your loved ones
• The interiors are very simplistic yet pretty
• The ambiance is lent an even richer appeal with a very awesome choice of music
• The place is not that cramped and the service might be a little late but the taste then delivered is incredible
• I decided to stop at Rawduck (Hackney) for a coffee and was disappointed for doing so
• Rawduck (Hackney) has a very good interior but that was it the coffee that they prepared was not well
• It looked like the person who made that was bit unprofessional
• We ordered a cake and that was little high on price
• Apart from great ambiance Rawduck (Hackney) will offer you nothing but sometimes it is good to go at a place with nice decor
• The large communal tables are perfect if you're in a huge group
• I ordered a dirty bird sandwich chilli roast chicken with jalapeno mayo
• While on paper it was something which would definitely be right up my alley
• A sandwich it was a little hard to eat
• Hear me out the bread is toasted and quite a dense variety so as soon as you cut into it everything spills out
• Though this is secondary to my main issue too much mayonnaise
• Any sort of chilli flavour was lost and it just left me with that sickly feeling for the rest of the day
• Perhaps I will have better luck with one of their large plates next time
• There is nothing worse than a restaurant in Hackney thinking they will just draw people in because they think they are in a 'cool' area and have the audacity to charge a premium
• I went only after a few weeks of its opening and the staff were very obviously inexperienced and have a lot to learn
• Hair in our food which was poor to begin with
• The atmosphere was perfect for a neighborhood joint
• Beautiful fit out and lovely calm professional open kitchen which is always a winner in my eyes
