Primeur (Highbury)

• The restaurant was bright and airy with a minimalist decor
• The restaurant used to be a garage and its nice they've kind of kept that character during the conversion with floor to ceiling doors which can open up the entire shopfront
• Seating is on shared tables and the menu is meant for sharing giving it a very casual feel
• The food itself is a selection of small sharing plates made from selected fresh ingredients of the day
• You can rest assured everything is super fresh and seasonal
• Cod cheeks with lemon aioli
• They were served much rarer than expected and were tender and full of flavour
• Not rubbery at all which is always a danger
• Its quite possible a bite was taken out before I had a chance to snap them so don't use them as a guide for portion size either
