Now the food the Mac and cheese was nice rich creamy everything you except from it a melted cheese crust on top I enjoyed my dish
-
Verdict go there if u have a booking the let down was table factor but food was good hence a three
-
I didn't know anything about Pizza East (Shoreditch) before i arrived with friends and it was a nice surprise
-
It's like a massive warehouse buzzing with activity and serving up tasty food
-
Maybe I'm picky with Italians because I'm Italian
-
Pizza East (Shoreditch) is a lot "
-
Especially Saturday night is so loud u can barely hear the person next to you
-
The pizza tough is not very big
-
Keep an eye on the specials as these are often good
-
The kitchen also often cater to any special requests and can offer advice on the best alternative cheese for your pizza
-
If they are tackling the yuppie market so well I really would like to see them add truffle oil (in fact every pizza place) to the table but that is just a personal pipe dream
-
They received us in a generous way and throughout the meal the service was surely good
-
The olive oil was incredible
-
They have great music playing in the background and the employees were extremely friendly
-
It was slightly way too crowded which was a bit of a put off
-
Pizza East (Shoreditch) is extremely popular so you can expect to wait a while depending on the time of day and day of the week
-
The tomato sauce was simple and delicious (my favourite tomato sauce is always something that tastes like pure crushed tomatoes with a few other pure and delicious ingredients thrown in
-
That's exactly what was achieved at Pizza East
-
The mozzarella was melty and flavourful (not something you always get in mozza)
-
One of the best pizzas in London
-
Margherita pizza with extra buratta is to die
-
North of the river residents are more than catered
-
Pizza East is the perfect place to enjoy gourmet pizza in an urban yet rustic environment
-
Individual tables are snapped up by those with the nous to pre book whilst the more casual diner is thrown to the wolves onto one of the long
-
The menu is very attractive indeed with a good handful of original but not outrageous pizzas
-
If beautifully thin San Daniele ham with ricotta and wild pesto isn't a winning combo then I quite frankly do not know what is
-
He did spice it up with a side of garlic bread though
-
The veal meatball with prosciutto and cream
-
A real little hidden gem is the macaroni cheese which we ordered for the middle of the table
-
Forks darted in and out from every direction from the deliciously creamy dish that was at huge risk of out shining the pizzas
-
Happy conversation reverberated around the room with the clatter of cutlery and echoes of yummy noises for company
-
Pizza East is a fail safe option for a good meal with good friends
-
Waiting in the bar with an ice cold drink is no great hardship
-
I love pizza and therefore was so excited to try Pizza East (Shoreditch) out
-
Firstly the interior is beaitufl i love the excessive amount of wood broken up only by white counter
-
The atmosphere is fun and exciting
-
Due to the fact that is its always packed with people
-
We also felt a tad rushed to eat and leave as there was a huge line of people waiting to dine
-
The pizza which is what it is all about
-
Excusable due to how busy it was this night
-
I am not the biggest fan of pizza and this is maybe because I was disappointed with it so many times before in my life
-
Because it was insanely busy and had to wait for at least 20 min to get a table
-
So that was a downside especially in times when you are really hungry
-
Pizza that was very yummy and was of a good size to leave me feeling full and not too heavy on my stomach
-
I really enjoyed spending my time here surrounded by lively people who were happily conversing over their food and planning on visiting it many more times
-
Pizza East is pretty addictive
-
Normally we started off with a few starters to share &ndash
-
They do them in a tapas style so they are very easy to share
-
The olives with almonds are especially delicious
-
Though I would definitely recommend trying the pizza if it is your first visit
-
The menu also changes quite regularly so there is always something different to try
-
During the week at lunchtime it is normally quiet and easy to get a table
-
It is a big restaurant with high ceilings
-
The service is great and the food is delicious
-
I had a pizza which I thought was a bit small but it was really well made
-
The toppings are a little more imaginative than your average pizza joint and they seem to be fabulously fresh
-
Tomato and basil but the veal meatballs with prosciutto and cream sounds especially decadent and inviting
-
Pizza East (Shoreditch) is absolutely amazing if you're in the mood for pizza
-
My favorite pizza was the Burrata tomato and oregano
-
We ordered marinated olives and croquettes to start which were also really great
-
The drinks are really nice as well
-
The staff is extremely friendly and will recommend a nice cocktail that is to your taste and expectations
-
The place has a warm and welcoming ambiance with comfortably dim lighting
-
We didn't have a reservation so it took us about 20 minutes to get seated at the bar (tables were all occupied)
-
The soppresata was a little spicy which we liked and the burrata was a very soft stringy cheese which went perfectly with the meats
-
It's a wonderful place to hang out with friends over some good food
-
I'm going to put this out there I think Pizza East is better than Franco Manca
-
In fact it's possibly the best pizza I've had in London
-
If you're heading to the Shoreditch restaurant with just one or two others then ask to be seated at the pizza counter
-
Watching the synchronised pizza making in action is the most exhausting yet addictive complimentary set piece perfect for a date to take the pressure off the conversation
-
It could have been the two Strongbows I'd sank on the Overground journey east (pear variety so I could convince myself it was more continental)
-
The tanginess of the tomato with just a little warmth from the chili
-
My pork belly and mushroom pizza was generous on the toppings crowned with crispy crackling to boot with a meaty
-
Food and price all a massive thumbs up I defy you to not leave with a happy belly and a new found respect for pizza kitchens
-
Where in London to best get my fix
-
A shrine to pizza art is Pizza East
-
So I went strong with the salted chocolate caramel tart
-
The most painful part of this restaurant is trying to get in on a Thursday
-
I went for a carafe of white (it was a Falanghina if I remember correctly) to share with my friend and some others in our group shared a bottle of red (it was a Merlot)
-
Good selection of pizzas particularly recommend the 4 cheese washed down with Camden pale ale
-
They have a bar with Italian finger food to tide you over
-
A bit too noisy for my taste but the pizza is indeed good
-
Reserve well in advance and make sure to arrive hungry as portions are rather generous
-
Pizza East is right in the heart of Shoreditch near to the train station
-
Pizza East is housed in a huge old tea warehouse that has rustic charm
-
Not because I am unadventurous but it is just so good
-
Now these beauties are huge for a starter
-
The lamb is wonderfully moist with rich tomato sauce and gooey cheese
-
This was demolished with speed so I always take this as a sign that it was good
-
The lime aioli I was reliably informed
-
Pizza East (Shoreditch) is very popular and always busy I have been once with
-
The salads are also a decent size
-
I've actually eaten the pizza from Pizza East before and didn't remember thinking it was particularly special for its price tag
-
When a friend booked it for her birthday I was pleased I'd be able to try it 'properly'
-
The restaurant itself is pretty cool
-
Quite large and airy it is a good place for a group of you rather than a romantic dinner as it's quite boisterous
-
We had starters I had the coppa and robiola croquettes which were a little too squidgy for me
-
Like me thought there was nothing wrong with it
-
Pizza East is one of our favorite
-
We like these area of London and we are often coming here far a night out
-
The pizzas are perfect but so too are many of their other dishes
-
The croquettes are a must try and so is the burrata
-
The truffle salami is also pretty hard to ignore
-
In between meal times it was quite a depressing atmosphere
-
Mozzarella and chilli pizza along with the oven baked lasagne and both were delicious
-
The pizza is thin and crispy with the perfect ratio of tomato to mozzarella and therefore not too heavy
-
My only criticism is that the crust takes up far too much of the pizza
-
The lasagna was absolutely delicious
-
We had the pizza with spicy salami and mosarella and the lasagna which both were good
-
My friend and I were squeezed onto the end of one of the long bench tables and my pizza was fine
-
Not great like I had anticipated and the service was pretty poor
-
So when my friend suggested we head there on a glorious Friday night I was more than happy to give it another go
-
14 for a pizza is definitely a deal breaker
-
I had Franco Manca earlier this week and that was probably a better pizza for half the price (around £
-
This reason alone is enough for me to justify a poor review
-
Other than that the decor is nice and nothing to complain about the service
-
Went on a Tuesday evening with a friend after work
-
So we ended up sitting at the kitchen bar to eat which was fine if not a bit hot
-
One with artichoke and the other with capers and anchovies
-
The staff here are lovely so helpful
-
The building is gigantic tea building in Shoreditch and somehow Soho House Group make it feel warm and welcoming no mean feat in a warehouse
-
The pizzas are naples style (my fave) with big chewy crusts and thin wet bases
-
Toppings change with the season and we enjoyed such delights as aubergine
-
My only problem would be if you were put on the long tables you'd be very close to the next group if you didn't know them
-
The interiors are gorgeous and it is always full with a young crowd
-
I like Shoreditch and Pizza East (Shoreditch) is such a cool place with great staff and amazing ambience
-
The food is really delicious pizzas are always fresh and tastes fantastic
-
Pizza East is in Shoreditch
-
Housed in the Tea Building which is home to Shoreditch House and Dirty Burger all of which are owned by the Soho House Group
-
There is a small area with a big wooden table in the centre for drinks and charcuterie
-
With a central bar dotted with high stools for bar dining
-
It can get very busy with walk ins during lunch time
-
The style of service is informal and friendly which is perfect for lunch
-
My colleague had bruschetta with fig and burrata which I have obsessed about in previous reviews
-
As it is the most of delicate of Italian cheeses with a sold outer shell and smooth creamy inside
-
The main course is where my eyes proved to be bigger than my stomach
-
The pork belly meat was tender and was perfectly partnered with the finely chopped herbs
-
Perhaps best to miss out a starter with this dish to ensure you lick the plate clean
-
My fellow diner had the pizza with artichokes
-
I imagine that it will also great on the long wooden tables with a group of friends too for an evening session
-
Housed in the Tea Building which is home to Shoreditch House and Dirty Burger &ndash
-
All of which are owned by the Soho House Group
-
The bruschetta is incredible
-
The big downside for me was being sat in a communal table that was so tightly packed that virtually made any privacy impossible
-
The buffalo mozzarella pizza was ok (great dough but I've had better especially in terms of toppings)
-
The spicy sausage pizza was great (though not really spicy in the opinion of the person who ordered it)
-
Dessert the lemon posset was ordered to share it's basically a deconstructed lemon tart with the lemon mousse topped with whipped cream in a pot and two shortbread cookies on the side
-
The building is a former tea warehouse and remains faithful to its industrial past &ndash
-
Easy to see why Pizza East (Shoreditch) is so popular
-
Would recommend Pizza East (Shoreditch) for dates and recommend booking or expecting to wait if you are in a big group
-
Always bustling with lot of people
-
The lamb meatballs are yummy while the cinnamon doughnut balls are delectable
-
The atmosphere and decor along with their fantastic drinks menu make for a great evening out with friends
-
Pizza East was the final stop of my East End food tour
-
I had a feeling in my heart that it was a spot I wanted to come back and settle in
-
I visited Pizza East with the Eating London Food Tour to try their famous salted caramel chocolate tart
-
I didn't enjoy it as much as expected since the caramel layer was rather thick which made the dessert overly sweet
-
The place is really nice and beautiful and the food especially the pizzas are extremely tasty
-
We ordered marinated olives with Marco a almonds which tasted great
-
Then we called for buratta cheese with peas which was very refreshing and light
-
After which we called for the pizzas which were huge and finger licking tasty
-
Were I started with a very good wine in the bar very beautiful small bar inside the restaurant where you can feel the warm of the place and appreciate nice drinks
-
It was delicious to see as well to see the waitress mixing two wines in a different glass unfortunately the flavor the combination was far from being good
-
In general it is a good restaurant with a very cozy decoration and good pizzas
-
Huge warehouse style restaurant with wood fired pizzas
-
Though there were loads of us
-
We'd pre ordered so food was swift and seemingly never ending
-
Would be nice to have more options and maybe vegan garlic bread but the limited options that they do offer are pretty good
-
Making good pizza is like painting a masterpiece
-
The location is great if you&rsquo
-
The pizzas are just delicious
-
Pizza east pizzas was delicious and fantastic pizza i eat their the crust the thickness and the cheese was soo perfect in there i tried salami tomato mozrella pizza I will come again
