The openness of the place and the concept of the sharing tables (which is seen across most of Neal's Yard) makes conversation with absolute strangers easy and natural
-
I really like their selection of beers and the music is usually well picked too
-
Meant friends with particularly poor timekeeping were forced to make an effort
-
Homeslice is half filled with a charming (but knowingly hip) bunch
-
Unfortunately are not on time
-
A few of the pizzas here are available as single (massive) slices for four pounds
-
Flavoursome meat paired with the peppery leaves
-
The only shame is the limited menu pizza
-
The caprese was so good I'd recommend it just for that
-
Because the portions are so big you can roll up a slice
-
Perhaps the best one I have had in London to date
-
Very large and thin with a thick crust and some nice rock salt bits
-
I recommend the one with courgettes its just perfect
-
Don't be too conventional with your choices they have exciting things going on
-
Good to share with friends too
-
So going in a group is recommended
-
4 single slices with some of the on tap frizzante wine
-
The frizzante was good &ndash
-
It it really thin with a lot of fillings and the crust is soft
-
The restaurant is small and you could have your own or communal table
-
I stumbled upon the restaurant with my boyfriend while searching for a place to eat in Covent Garden
-
We stepped straight through the door with no hesitation
-
The small team of young staff are buzzing around with twenty inch pizzas upon their shoulders and guests are digging in whilst taking photos of their meals ready for Instagram
-
As soon as we arrived the staff were very attentive and friendly
-
T get a table for an hour as it was bustling with customers and so we booked one for later on
-
When we were seated we were instantly greeted by a smiley waitress who explained how Homeslice worked
-
I think this was due to a combination of tasty flavours and the novelty of eating such a huge pizza
-
The only thing I think people may not like is how salty the base and crusts are
-
The atmosphere is fab due to the close knit
-
Small space which comes alive when jam packed with pizza lovers
-
Finally the actual pizzas are so satisfying
-
The pizzas are actually ridiculously big and would comfortably feed 2 4 people depending how hungry you were
-
We unfortunately didn't have time to sit down and dine and there was only two of us so we didn't want to order such a monstrosity of a pizza
-
Very authentic Italian pizza with a nice thin base and tomato sauce bursting with flavor
-
We just came for a glass of wine so we sat on the little wooden stools and tables out the front which was quite pleasant and a bit more peaceful than inside which was packed
-
I guess it is a very good selling technique as you will never have to wait to be served more wine therefore you would probably drink more with out even realising it
-
The waiter was friendly the service quick
-
Pizza is not by any means my favourite food some of my best reviews on zomato just happen to be for pizza haunts
-
Therefore my pizza reviews are bound to have a bit of a head start
-
The pizza is truly delicious with awesome topping combos and you won't leave feeling really bloated because the base is not at all heavy
-
You won't be down on monetary dough at the end of the evening because the menu is really reasonable
-
Perhaps not the best pizza I've ever had but I'd consider putting it on a short list
-
The wine (pretty mediocre) is served by the magnum and once you're done
-
Really buzzy with super friendly staff milling about
-
You can't book but you leave your number with them so they can call when they're ready for you
-
I've only ever had to wait for around thirty minutes but with a pub around the corner
-
000 square feet and 49% of it is an open kitchen
-
Unfortunately there are only 3 choices for pizzas by the slice
-
The pizza comes in paper plates and as far as I could tell there was no cutlery
-
At first the idea of finishing a whole pizza even with the help of a couple of friends can seem impossible
-
The pizza crust is super thin and crispy
-
This new restaurant Homeslice is perfect if you like pizza
-
The atmosphere is friendly and simple
-
I presume it is because they just open
-
My favourite was the Finocchiona &
-
The only problem was the cookin
-
Their pizzas are enormous &
-
Extraordinarily thin with a doughy crust
-
The toppings are creative and delicious
-
Cozy pizzeria with a chilled vibe will never fail for what they offer
-
You will definitely be eating the pizza messily and hopefully with a plentiful amount of tissues on hand
-
I've been a number of times and although you will always have to queue (because the place is so damn GOOD)
-
Kale (+ aubergine) were my favourite of the topping combos I've tried (mind blowingly good
-
The service is great and friendly and it's quite simply and all round MUST
-
This is the best pizza place in London
-
Salami and chorizo are my favorites
-
You know Homeslice is going to be good
-
The twenty inch pizzas are a well constructed balance of thin
-
Fire kissed crust with smatterings of fresh
-
Calabrese peppers give spice and heat and the chervil cuts through with a grassy notes softened by the melted knobs of Linconshire poacher cheese
-
Not much description is needed for Homeslice (Covent Garden) hidden in a corner of Neals Yard in Covent Garden
-
They come out on a massive board and are positioned in the centre of the table
-
The flavours are amazing and the combinations just work always
-
The dough is a step above from anywhere else with a salty flavour
-
Then there is the size of the pizza
-
What I usually do is put my number down and go to a pub around the corner it makes the time go by much faster
-
The people are awesome very polite
-
Little else has as they continue to serve delicious pizzas which focus on the best seasonal produce the UK has to offer
-
That in itself may not sound overly impressive seasonal pizzas in London are a dime a dozen
-
Places mask average food with just sheer quantity
-
The toppings on offer tonight all sounded amazing and with no less than 10 different pizzas on the go
-
Making a decision was going to be tough
-
Each flavour combination was excellent and showcased Homeslice's ingenuity
-
The dough however showcased Homeslice's skill perfectly fluffy and with just enough resistance to the bite
-
The good thing about Homeslice is that you don't actually have to stand there whilst you wait
-
So failing that I have been getting up to speed on the best pizzas in London
-
Rocket and parmesan and the other half was the pulled BBQ brisket
-
All of this was joyfully washed down with the prosecco on tap
-
Simply mash a boiled sweet potato and put in the blender with a splash of cream
-
Knock up some homemade crackers with 200g plain flour
-
Slice up and sprinkle with freshly cracked pepper and sea salt
-
In my opinion there are many other places in London with better pizza and with a much shorter waiting list
-
We went early as we know that the tables book up fast and were told we had an hour wait and they would call us when we have a table
-
We went back after an hour and a bit with no call and were told to wait another half an hour
-
The manager was extremely apologetic and went on to give us a glass of wine and a slice on the house
-
In saying that the food was unbelievable and we enjoyed every minute which made us forget about the long long wait
-
I came here with a few friends and I must say the pizza was great
-
Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had
-
Went there based on some amazing reviews but I was really disappointed
-
The AMBIENCE of the place was bad loud and conjusted
-
Then there were only a few options with pizzas and we ordered 2 of them and they were just BAD
-
Amazing Napoli style pizza with modern western flavourful toppings as well as traditional toppings
-
Was a little obnoxiously busy but that's just what it is when you have food this tasty which is so quick and fairly priced
-
There seemed to be no time like the present last Friday evening (despite that work was hosting a pizza party of its own&hellip
-
The weather in London was exceptionally fantastic o
-
Pizza is one of my favourite foods so I was more than keen to try Homeslice (Covent Garden)
-
As expected upon arrival there was a wait but their system is for you to leave a number and they will call you when the table is ready
-
One half was pulled pork brisket with pickles and the other anchovy
-
There wine is also on a pay as much as you drink system
-
T have to wait for service but also deadly as there is a large bottle of wine sitting at your table (it&rsquo
-
Half anchovies with caramelized onions
-
Half salami with rocket and parmesan
-
The classic salami with Parmesan was all about peppery and mild spicy flavours
-
Definitely one of the best spots in Covent Garden
-
Waiting time was an hour plus on Friday evening
-
The sauce on the aubergine was incredible and the spice really set it off
-
Both were light with a perfect balance of flavours
-
Great to go with a group of friends
-
The location is magical and the price is surely friendly
-
It seemed that most of London had descended there n there was a 1.00 hour waiting
-
I was disappointed as they had very less vegetarian options and were not able to give a combination of veg toppings
-
The 20 inch pizza looked nice but was very soggy in the enter inspite of our requesting for a crisp pizza
-
The taste was average of the margirata pizza but the half with mushroom was quite bad
-
One of the best pizza I've eaten in the world
-
The topping options are limited for me but it didn't seem like a problem here because they have a lot of vegetarian variety as well and the combinations work beautifully
-
Pizza was delicious base was thin an toppings were Devine
-
The missus does not like pizza but was won over after an evening at Homeslice
-
This is the best pizza I've had in London
-
The slices are served from ready pizzas and hence lack the beautiful aroma or taste of a freshly baked pizza
-
I imagine if the pizza was fresh the I would imagine enjoying this slice a lot more
-
The pizzas are absolutely delicious
-
Certainly some of the best I've had in London
-
If all you want is a great pizza meal this is the place to go
-
It's a nice little spot that is open late and has very friendly and nice staff
-
The pizzas are super delicious
-
Hidden in Neal's yard Homeslice (Covent Garden) is always busy and has queue
-
4 and each slice is quite filling
-
Unfortunately they are not halal so have to settle with the vegetarian option of Margherita or mushroom (excellent)
-
We waited an hour to get a seat here but it was totally worth it
-
You can split the Pizzas with two different choices
-
We ordered a half and half and were greeted with this huge pizza
-
Enjoyed the pizza with some beer on tap
-
Highly recommend Homeslice (Covent Garden) if you are in mood for a pizza while exploring this neighborhood
-
This is definitely one of the best pizza places in London
-
These pizzas are quite addictive
-
Victim of their success this restaurant is always fully booked and you need patience to get a table but the wait is totally worthy
-
Plus the topping are unusual and various
-
I think it can easily be made vegan bu skipping the cheese (which is what I am going to do next time
-
This pizza is so tasty it doesn&rsquo
-
The pizzas are big (20&rdquo
-
(I would say one pizza is enough for two people) definitely worth for the taste
-
The service is good and the restaurant is usually busy
-
Probably the best I have eaten anywhere
-
Turns out Homeslice offer one of the best mushroom pizza
-
T leave London without trying Homeslice (Covent Garden) since it was one of the top 10 places to go to for pizza
-
I tried a margherita slice and loved it so much that I came the next day and brought my friends with me to try it as well
-
Ambiance was amazing and service was upto the mark
-
Homeslice in the Neal's yard at Covent Garden is a spot for good conversations over pizza and a beer
-
The restaurant is in the quirky Neals Yard and the dining area is a small room with a bustling atmosphere
-
The pizzas are big and good value but most importantly they taste great
-
The pepperoni was delicious and they are generous with the Parmesan
