We were very well looked after and the food was really very good
-
We noticed a large number of Italians were eating there and I feel it is always a good sign when one finds this to be the case
-
I believe it is really a traditional taste they serve unlike other Italian places I had the sea bass it was fabulous
-
I would just like the main dishes to come with a few vegetables
-
OK but My overall experience was a very enjoyable and satisfactory
-
Where the main shopping are is Regent Street you are going to find Piccolino
-
With open outdoor seating with comfortable chairs and sofas
-
I can recommend to order the Bruschetta connfunghi and the Veal Milanese which were huge and delicious
-
The services were Great as well
-
The only negative fact is that they do not have home delivery or take away but definetely a great place to visit
-
Heddon street is rather romantic at night with loads of fairy lights
-
This is one of the best restaurants in London
-
Everything was served very quickly
-
Piccolino itself is nestled amongst a small set of restaurants in Heddon Street
-
Accompanied with the fairy lights hanging above
-
When we arrived at Piccolino we were greeted by the hostess who kindly showed us down to the cicchetti bar in the basement
-
We followed it with a slice of crispy 'picante pizzette' (spicy calabrian sausage
-
Peas and mozzarella cheese) was not a let down
-
Alongside the 'zucca fritta' (crispy fried pumpkin and sage) which was so incredibly delicious I was left craving more the foodie's sign of a perfect dish
-
It wasn't the best bellini Ive ever had
-
My first taste of cichetti I was pleasantly surprised
-
All words and images are still my own
-
It was quite crowded during lunch time so you could either sit downstairs which is quite depressing or outside where there are heaters as well so no issues with that
-
Food was good with a good selection of fresh fish
-
If you are smoker then you can definitely sit outside and enjoy your meal there with no problems at all
-
Heaters are always on so even if it is cold it still feels alright
-
Beautifully paired with modern contemporary design &
-
Is a little street is a small road of restaurants
-
Garlic bread pizza was very hard and dry
-
The front of house was extremely friendly however the waiting staff were pretty lack lustre and didn't make the visit feel special
-
A lot of the waiters are Italian and give the restaurant a nice vibe with their mannerisms and the way you are ushered to your table
-
Would have preferred if the toast was a bit softer
-
The service was also really efficient
-
Booked in advance but there was plenty of space
-
Worse still is neither of us likes olives so that was a waste
-
They need to change the policy on this as it is misleading
-
You can have some dishes either as small of large but again the option was not given when we ordered so there is some staff training to be done
-
I think the Pollo Milanese was a little too hot to start
-
Food tasted great and even the bread selection to start was different and a nice touch (just should be open about there being a charge)
-
There was a nice seasoning to the chicken breast and coating was just right
-
I think there is also a bar downstairs so will take a look and report next time
-
Given the restaurant inside was almost empty it was a little noisy
-
The menu is vast so many options from pasta and pizza to choose from and many dishes for vegetarians which is also another plus
-
20 credit for the next visit and a loyalty scheme to not just this but there other restaurants i think this is a great idea and will visit again for sure
-
55.00 for two which is without starters or desserts or wine
-
I think that is reasonable
-
Professional and friendly staff good service presentation of the food was good i oredered the risotto i must say it lacked taste
