OXO Tower Bar (South Bank)

• It's a bar with one of the nicest views in town
• By the river although the tower is not the tallest building in London by any stretch
• I love it but it is quite expensive and we expect it to have high standards according to the price
• Its sad when such a beautiful place is made to look ugly
• OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) is gorgeous but then the lighting they have done is not doing any good to the place
• The service was not efficient and the staff was just not able to coordinate
• This restaurant has two different options for seating and i can tell you by experience that the inside area with its jam packed and noisy crowd lacks big time in ambiance
• The service too was not up to the mark and the staff were involved in doing trivial things rather than being attentive to requests
• In fact the quality was really bad
• The food was prepared with least care and were served cold
• Food and wine selections were extensive and whatever we ordered was appealing and appetizing
• I had visited OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) earlier today with a couple of friends and OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) turned to be a torture
• The empty plates were left on the table for about 20 minutes and the table that we got was also very far from the window
• The experience is always satisfying with a good wine list
• On our recent visit we were left annoyed by the piano music either because of the closeness or the poor sound
• When we decide to leave we were convinced otherwise by the manager
• The promise of fifteen minutes was left unfulfilled for more than an hour
• We would have happily come in on some other day but the ordeal of waiting had spoiled our night and this is a major reason we will never return
• The only good bit was the balcony and the exciting view
• The food however was awful and so very tasteless
• The main dish was a complete disaster
• The service here is fast and does not leave you unsatisfied in any way possible
• OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) is surely worth a visit
• The only good thing was the view of river Thames and the wine list
• OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) is quite formal in its outlook
• The service was decent although the staff appeared a little foxed at some occasions
• The view from here is also remarkable and you can enjoy your cocktails watching the sunset
• The prices are however a little high but worth going to on a special day
• Paul's cathedral and is located in a great venue
• The food here is delicious and absolutely delightful
• The atmosphere is lively and includes a celebrity clientele as well

• I had come to OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) with a lot of expectations however
• The staff here always seems very confused and the environment is close to chaotic
• He cocktails here are better when compared to the desserts
• The overall service was not even close to average and the space always seems very crammed up
• The view from the restaurant is spectacular
• The feel of the place is quite warm and comforting
• The staff though friendly needs to be a little more careful with the orders
• The location is beautiful and overlooks the river
• The sound of the waves was amazingly reassuring
• The service was top notch as well
• The staff was well versed with their menu and food
• The presentation was simplistic
• Everything from appetizers to dessert was deliciously prepared and presented
• The sommelier was also very efficient
• We got the best quality in our price range
• OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) is a perfect ten
• The overall place is not that amazing
• The service here is not up to the mark as well
• Even then the delay in serving the dishes was well beyond reasonable and the time taken to bring out the dish ranged from an hour to hour and a half
• The dishes brought out then was not even made to order and our time there stretched for a really long time
• I would recommend trying the duck and the rum baba which were out of this world
• The restaurant has one of the best view's of town which is absolutely outstanding
• The atmosphere is upscale and classy
• The service was also great with the staff being extremely friendly
• The haggis is a must have here
• The ambience is awesome with wonderful views from the place
• The food is just average and is pretty expensive for it's worth

• I am not sure whether I would like to go back to OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) because basically you are just paying for the ambience
• OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) is quite pretentious
• The staff is over enthusiastic and service is very rushed and displeasing
• The staff pestered for deciding the selections while we were having a meal and even spilled wine on me
• We got a table right next to the balcony and had the best view out of all
• The clientele was comparatively younger than us and it seemed as if it was the trending restaurant among them
• The only downside to my whole experience was the overcooked duck which lacked tenderness
• This is for you if you're looking for a great view with a young atmosphere
• The venue is centrally located and is very approachable
• Especially the beef and cauliflower puree which was cooked to perfection
• The desserts are pretty good as well
• The service is pretty efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly
• The ambience is wonderful as the views from OXO Tower Bar (South Bank) are beautiful
• The view of the place is spectacular
• The cocktails that they offer are impeccable
• The service was at par too and the best time to visit this restaurant is during sunset hours
• I had a wonderful time with my friends here
• The bar staff is very friendly
• The pannacotta is a must have here
• The views from the builiding are outstanding
• That location is very soothing to the eye
• The wine list was also really well thought out
• The service was flawless and impeccable
• I was welcomed very warmly by the host and was seated right next to the glass with a lovely view of the river and other landmarks nearby
• Made sure that I had the taste of the best the heaven could offer
• The food is delectable but everyone is here for the incredible view
• If you have a good company you will have great time there with amazing views worth even waiting in the line to get a seat
• Many of which are London and Thames themed
• A Tiki style drink complete with Tiki cup available to take home (for a price)
• Ordered the fish and chips which was lightly battered and tasty
• The salmon rosti was visually appealing and the grilled prawns looked delicious
• It's really surprising that the bar is on the 8th floor as that is not as high as you'd expect
• The cocktails are all very nice
• There's a great selection and an icon of the glass they are served in next to each one
• I tried the corpse reviver (the blue one in the photos) and it was quite strong but very nice
• Cocktails at this iconic bar is definitely worth it in the Summer
