Osteria dell'Arte (Clapham)

• Whilst I usually opt for the pizza and therefore pasta is not my forte
• The fresh egg pasta in the sausage ragu was like none I'd had before
• The pizzas were large though and with about 3 bottles of wine between four of us the bill came to £
• The atmosphere and ambiance of the place is very nice and cozy
• The pizzas were of good size(12 inch i think) and the bread was very light
• They do not have a stone brick oven which i thought was a let down
• We started with a mixed bruschetta and they took our pickiness into consideration and presented us with three choices each
• The goats cheese and Aubergine was divine and the tomato fresh and full of flavour
• It should be served with a side sauce as it was slightly dry but they gave me a large pot when I requested it
• They weren't crispy as described and the chicken was slightly too dry
• My recommendation is go for the garlic bread pizza as a starter to make sure you are satisfied
• I ordered the gnocchi which was the most delicious comfort food and exactly what I was hoping
• The service was a bit of a let down as we had to remind our waiter to bring a few things and he forgot to bring the bottle of wine we were hoping to eat with our dinner
• Instead we were just charged an extra drink each
