One Sixty (West Hampstead)

• Excellent food the meat is exceptionally tender and flavour full
• Service is ok could be a bit more attentive like the chef is with the meat
• I shall take this moment to stress that even if it were not within walking distance
• Here we have a traditional table napkin but we were more delighted by the entire roll of paper towels on every table
• First to arrive were the rib tips
• I'm a strong believer that it is pretty impossible not to like wings
• My authority is limited and I think ribs are more flavoursome
• Next time I think I'll go with my first intention and get all the starters
• According to my dinner companion the pulled pork burger was also delicious
• Cloud fluffy chips accompanied our mains and were chunky and light
• There was sadly no space (this is becoming a horrible habit) for dessert
• I was super excited to hear of a new Smokehouse in West Hampstead especially with David Moore involved
• I asked if these came out earlier than the mains and we were told only slightly
• Special short rib and ox cheek were both tender but just lacking in a certain oomph of flavour
• Avocado salad were declared pretty good
• I was smugly glad id kicked up a fuss about the starter / extra debate as mine was piping hot
• Puddings were great apple tatin was nicely spiced with cinnamon
• I'd go back but only if I was passing and hungry nothing to write home about
• It seems that both myself and One Sixty are a little unsure whether it's trying to be a restaurant or a dive bar
• I anticipated a good quality piece of meat served with chips that would leave me feeling satisfied yet guilty and vowing only to eat lettuce for the next 24 hours
• This sort of style is the fucking toast
• Service is erratic but all the staff are really nice
• It has the feeling of a chain (perhaps the Strada of the barbecue world) not an independent restaurant served with love and
• The brunch menu is more lunchy than brunchy but the bacon and eggs dish really is good
• I had a BLT which was huge and included some seriously smoked and seriously amazing bacon
• None of us are familiar with the area
• On entering the walls are adorned with a a bright yellow and white childish murial on a black background
• The first thing I notice on entering the restaurant is a cartoon character with a big speech bubble saying "
• Quite funny the artist was allowed to get away with that really
• On the door to the ladies toilets is a large sign saying "
• We had the feeling that is more a reference to the service rather than the coming process
• A full kitchen roll is placed on the table when food arrives instead of serviettes
• The only redeeming point was the basic burger I ordered which tasted OK
