• The Hilton at Terminal 5 is a long way from Prescott Street in Aldgate
• Spice Namaste is established
• There is an open kitchen with a kitchen table
• Leo Hillinger Small Hill White was an absurd £
• Louis Martin Rose NV was a more reasonable £
• Potato with spiced yoghurt with tamarind and date chutney
• Light in texture with a nicely spiced filling (14/20)
• Here the fillet steak from Buccleuch Estate was cubed and marinated with peppercorns
• Was cooked all right but was a touch chewy in places
• The spices and vinegar were dialled back so much that the effect was just bland (10/20)
• Much better was whole sea bass (£
• This all sounded lovely but the reality of what arrived was woefully overcooked vegetables with little spicing (9/20)
• Roti and naan were both very pleasant (13/20)
• 6.50) is not made on site but is at least made for the restaurant rather than being from a generic catering supplier
• It had decent flavour though it was served a touch too cold
• Had pointed out the issues with them at the time
• Some dishes were very good indeed
• In amongst these were some rather careless mistakes
• I went here for a family lunch that was based of a set menu but many of the dishes were transferred from the regular menu
• I felt like the dishes were presented in the way you would expect in a michelin stared restaurant
• Small and dainty but the actual dish was nothing fancy or new
• Everything was well cooked
• The stand out dish for me was the trio of kulfi
• An open style kitchen with a chef&rsquo
• Atmosphere was decent and no fault with the service but the food was a definite miss
• Spiciness level not what was advertised
• List of alcoholic beverages was extremely limited
