Mr Fogg's Residence (Mayfair)

• Seeking out a bar that was nice but nothing too fancy schmansy
• Bruton Lane is probably the grimmest part of Mayfair
• A fair few are made with &lsquo
• (maybe more as the menu is so large I skipped a few pages)
• The composition of the the drinks are exceptional
• The flavours are on the money and you&rsquo
• Cannot remember what it was called &ndash
• Bursting to the seams with that whimsical and romantic vision of Victorian eccentricity
• The servers are numerous and therefore move beyond mere attentiveness
• The drinks are well worth it
• With an edge of pretention that is fitting in Mayfair
• A snippet of 'try hard' East that is tucked away in the back alleys of Mayfair
• It's a location that is sure to impress
• It was slightly annoying that 2 girls were unable to find a seat all night
• Was a great choice for pre dinner cocktails with visitors from America
• The bar itself is themed on 'Around the World in 80 days'
• A Gin infused Earl Grey tea with orange Marmalade
• 14) or cardamom infused vodka with rose liqueur
• Phileas himself is rarely there (always off on adventures I suppose) but his staff are very happy to look after you
• The place is mainly about cocktails and the menu is extensive and

• Though one does wonder if the griddle is gold plated

• Our 'Tipsy Tea' for the afternoon were a mixture of cocktails infused with tea
• It was only half two and we were on our way too
• The clientele was a mixture of posh girls treating themselves on a weekend
• S is a venue with a sense of humour as well as style
• 38 a head for a traditional tea with a choice of either a gin or champagne tea based cocktail
• Pomegranate juice and topped with Veuve Clicquot
• English Breakfast steeped with Hendrick&rsquo
• The two cocktail teas we had were on the sweet side too
• Every time I wanted to go there was some reason I couldn't
• I nearly missed it again as Abellio Greater Anglia don't run a great service on my line into London which meant that I was running hugely late
• The decor and ambience are worth checking out
• I usually go for the whiskey here but their cocktails are also very good
• Catching up with a friend over Tipsy Tea at the eccentric but but oh so charming home of Phileas Foggs Esq

• Can you believe that it has been 5 whole years of Mr Fogg's gracing us with their innovative cocktails and theatrics
• One of the reasons why I enjoy going to Mr Fogg's is the dramatics of the bar
• Just after 7 pm as I was running late from work
• The celebrations were already in full swing with live entertainment playing at the front of the bar
• I made an oath to go 31 days without alcohol and I was sticking to it
• Is a mixture of rhubarb with apple juice
• All it needed was a little shot of gin
• The second non alcoholic drink was the Berry straight &
• I also loved this mocktail but was a little on the sweeter side
• As the mocktails at Mr Fogg's are so imaginative
• It was an acceptable all be it expensive evening but was soon to be completely ruined by the (as he told me) owner
• I was standing at the bar with my partner and a friend waiting for my Uber as it was raining out
• T noticed he was sitting right there
• M not a confrontational person and completely understand when someone feels you are in their space but was taken aback by his aggressiveness that unfolded thereafter
• I am not one to argue with the right of admission but it in this instance I feel completely offended and targeted
• London has some of the best cocktail bars in the world this isn't even the best one on its street and there is nothing else there
• There was an ironic man with a mustache that works there which is so passe
• He proudly told us there are six in the city which makes it more of pret a manger than a low ket qualitative cocktail bar

• Unfortunately the doormen was one of the rudest people I have come across with unbelievable attitude
