The restaurant is really large
-
My personal favorites are the Tandoori dishes (all of them) and the yellow lentils with a yummy piece of garlic naan to dip
-
As for the food everything was presented well
-
We like spicy and though we thought things could be a bit spicier it was well spiced by London standards
-
The food is bit on the expensive side but good deals are generally available in the Top table website
-
Food is good quality (not very spicy as it is aimed at a diverse clientele) and tastefully presented
-
My favorites are beet root aloo tikki and paneer makhani
-
The ambience was very soothing and relaxing
-
The garlic and thyme chicken were superb succulent pieces of chicken well done with just the right flavor of garlic and thyme
-
The desserts were befitting the delicious starters and main course
-
Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) is definitely worth a visit
-
Once you visit you are sure to come back for more
-
This is a great place to go to for special occasions but of course it is a bit pricey
-
Some of my favourite dishes from here are the bhel puri chat
-
The portions are just right and the food really is delicious
-
Veeraswamy and Amaya are the flag bearers of Indian fine dinning in London
-
The service is immaculate and fast
-
The food though expensive is absolutely delicious
-
So with that offer it is surely worth a visit
-
The food didn't suffer for the presentation though with some fabulous Monk Fish and Chicken dishes
-
Ambience and vibe was conversational rather than party
-
Overall this was a decent place in which to spend a Sunday evening price wise the bill came to a very decent 20 per head (including drinks and a splattering of desserts)
-
We did take advantage of that classic 50% off mains all restaurants worth their salt are doing nowadays
-
The entrance is a bit off putting
-
Upon walking downstairs you are greeted by the hostess in a large reception area along with a strong hit of scented incense candles
-
I was dining with a party of four and was shown to our table
-
The restaurant is dimly lit to create a nice atmosphere of elegance with a hint of slight pretentiousness
-
Past the bar and walls padded with leather and wooden trim
-
The Seats at our table was more comfortable small sofa chairs which i liked
-
The decor is contemporary but what i liked was there was a lot of space and things didn't feel cramped and it created a nice relaxed atmosphere
-
I guess this is standard which "
-
Also tried the unique and different biryani along with the classic chicken jalfrezi
-
Despite the portion sizes were on the small size i didn't leave feeling hungry or full
-
The waiter was attentive and polite
-
What also was good was they gave us individual bills when we asked for the meal to be split between 4 which was a nice touch
-
Where Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) scores points is the atmosphere and service
-
Value without a 50% is not worth it all
-
Chicken and Lamb were verbally said as being Halal
-
I visited the fine dining restaurant and lounge over 5 times in my 4 week visit to London and I was delighted every time during my visit
-
The ambiance and service at Mint Leaf is perfect for a romantic meal with your partner or even a nice quiet dinner with your loved ones
-
They also have a DJ and a live saxophonist playing on Fridays and Saturdays which serves as a good start to any weekend and is totally entertaining
-
I was lucky to try out quite a few drinks from their cocktail menu and I have to say the unique concoctions offered in their extensive bar menu were a true delight
-
The mixed non veg sharing platter is a great dish to begin your meal with
-
The tikkas were extremely succulent and cooked to perfection
-
I would recommend the chicken jalfrezi and methi maas with the chilli/ garlic naan
-
The black dal was an absolute stunner
-
I would recommend the hot chocolate fondant which is a perfect way to end an amazing meal
-
Food arrived promptly and all the dishes sampled were tasty and authentic without too much spice but still remaining tasty and not bland
-
Though the room is split into smaller sections by walnut panelling
-
The lighting low but with enough illumination on the tables
-
The head chef is Rajinder Pandey
-
Saint Emilion was a relative bargain at £
-
What after all is a glass of yoghurt
-
10.50) was flavoured with garlic and kaffir lime
-
9.50) was spiced with fenugreek and chilli and served with brown lentils and mint chutney
-
20) was marinated with clove and black cardamom
-
The spinach puree was nicely made and the fried okra was good
-
18) wrapped in banana leaf is a parsi dish
-
7) with ginger and cumin had cauliflower that was a touch softer than ideal
-
Though the peas were good and the spicing competent (13/20)
-
The black lentils almost creamy in texture but still with a touch of bite
-
This was up there with the best versions of dal makhani that I have eaten (15/20 may be too mean a score)
-
At the very end the manager was apologetic and (unprompted) adjusted the bill
-
Though a more realistic bill for three courses with modest drinks would be around £
-
The starters were quite good
-
The main was not that great as it was way too processed
-
The ambiance is a bit too dark
-
I have visited Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) earlier and was really impressed with the place so went back again and the same wonderful experience
-
They make sure that you are comfortable
-
Not only are the interiors fashionable and in tune with the modern taste but the menu itself has a unique range of innovative new dishes which satisfies all kinds of tastes of the customers
-
The food here is decent but nothing extraordinary at all
-
The desserts were very ordinary
-
The place is quite expensive and one ends up paying more for the area it is situated in
-
Another great factor here is their welcoming
-
The quality of food was quite good though I was expecting it to be more spicy
-
The prices charged were way too much compared to the portions served which in fact were quite small
-
The restaurant was quite empty and I might just give Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) another visit
-
The food was absolutely tasteless and the prices charged were way too much when compared to what other restaurants are charging now a days
-
The first mishap was that their system failed to show our reservation
-
We also sampled a few delicious cocktails that were rather over priced
-
As the starters had some spices which were a little too over whelming
-
The service was just alright although
-
We came here for lunch and found the insides to be nicely decorated with a modern flare
-
The portions of our food came in perfect sizes and were quite filling
-
The drinks were amazing and came in a more than filling portion
-
A place where so much attention is given to classic and modern cocktails
-
Giving full care to each flavor and bringing out spot on authentic flavor in each drink is something commendable
-
The food here is average but is exorbitantly priced
-
The ambiance is good and the service is prompt
-
The service was also fairly standard
-
I and my fiance had visited The Mint Leaf which is quite an exquisite place
-
On entering Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) we found out that the staff was very welcoming and our coats were taken
-
The staff member who was attending us was very cooperative and attentive and took a very good care of us without a fail
-
Raita and fish that turned out to be delicious and the quantity was more than sufficient
-
The environment was amazing and the ambiance of Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) added to the great night
-
I and my fiance thoroughly recommend Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) and are looking forward to be here very soon
-
Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) made me fall in love with it the very instance was because it was being visited my Nicholas Cage
-
The food here is very interesting and young
-
Cor is nice with some very good lighting
-
I was mesmerized with their beautiful decor as soon as i got inside
-
The starters were nice and the drinks refreshing
-
Not exactly the best Indian restaurant
-
There is nothing that we ordered and did not like the food is delicious and getting almost every dish to this level is close to perfection
-
Meat curry was one of the best items they offer
-
Chicken jalfrezi was the most brilliantly cooked chicken bits with hints of tomatoes making it all the more edgy
-
Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) is amazing with a great ambiance perfect for a meal with your date or loved ones
-
The food too is great and authentic
-
The food here was lovely and had great Indian flavors
-
The decor of Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) is something which forced me to try Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden)
-
Not that great but it was above average
-
If you are looking for a place with nice interior then Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) is surely for you
-
The place will never bore you or cease to amaze you with its delectable food and good service
-
The decor of Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) was what enticed me to take a chance and step inside
-
At many other places and this was a sore disappointment
-
Mint Leaf Restaurant & Bar (Covent Garden) was a fine experience
-
The service was good and the staff was quite warm as well but the food was not that good
-
Especially the main course which was of very poor quality
-
Even though the food was not that good
-
The cocktails are quite awesome and the food options
-
The food offered here is high on quality as well as quantity
-
The wine menu is nicely done and thus
-
The veg starter tasting plate was quite nice
-
Chef's bread basket was quite enough for 2 people
-
The food is good and you get small portions as you would often expect with fine dining
-
The vegetarian options are fairly limited but what you get is decent
-
Adraki Jheenga were of particular note
-
Once upon a time I was a fresh faced seventeen year old pondering what on earth I was going to do for the rest of my life
-
A normal Indian restaurant with the usual offerings
-
An amazingly decorated and massive Indian resto bar with really good food and with one of the best descriptive menus I've seen
-
I went there for Diwali night and was pleasantly surprised by its massive size
-
It has many small dining areas which are nicely separated from each other
-
Both of the starters were very well cooked and melted on the tongue
-
Everything was aesthetically presented and the food was piping hot
-
The chocolate fondant in the dessert was the icing on the cake
-
The service was not the greatest but nothing to complain about
-
The drinks were absolutely stunning and professionally made
-
The food we had at the restaurant was lovely as well
-
I had salmon which was well marinated and seasoned
-
The negatives I would say is the fact that for some reason they didn't have my name on their reservation
-
Went there for lunch after a few years and was surprised to see it so quiet
-
Booked a table from Zomato but the person at the reception did not have our booking infact she wasn't aware about Zomato which was surprising
-
It was Friday evening so the place was busy and we had to wait for 1 hour to get a table
-
Spcially the seekh kebab i was reminded of yummy Delhi seekh kebab
-
This also raised our expectation of main course though the main course was not that amazing
-
The breads were good and well cooked
-
The service was outstanding as was the food
-
I would also like to recommend the fantastic cocktail I ordered which was the spicy kir royal so utterly tasty
